Any suggestions to predict when a value will be reached? For instance when a percentage will hit 100, or world population example above, what year will we hit 25 Billion? Certainly you could extend the graph and figure this out, but can you do it with a formula or function? Maybe a function that loops through values and provides different X values based on data and until the desired value it hit?
Would I use this forecast function for this. I have a number y = 100 I know it is decrease at 8.5% per day. How many days would it take till y = 0. rounded to 0 since I know it would just keep getting closer
