I am excited for their success and am doing things to build awareness, I think they have a universal charm and appeal and am hearing they reach nations that don’t speak English as the primary language. The MMLs are a lovely operation. Wish I understood how the choose their movies lately, really heavy on Comic Book movies as of late. Do you think they could be talked into the Classics?
The tragedy of Jaime's life is that the one thing everyone looks down on him for is the one good thing he did--breaking his oath by killing the Mad King. That's why he's so disillusioned and why he's given up on the idea of being a good man.
I love your reactions to the complicated stories. Sometimes bad characters have good reasons for what they do, and sometimes good characters have bad reasons for what they do. Always look forward to more videos!
3:06 Interesting Fact for you, Chi and Hella: Rose Leslie, the actress who played Ygritte, actually married Kit Harrington (John Snow) in real life, and they have 2 kids together
@19:05: remember season 1… Jorah was spying on Daenerys and Viserys and sending detailed reports to Varys and the small council. He was hoping to obtain a royal pardon for his past crimes in Westeros (he sold poachers into slavery and was sentenced to death by Ned Stark, his liege lord - he fled to Essos to escape his punishment). When he did receive a royal pardon from one of Varys’ little spies, he understood that the Crown had decided to kill Daenerys. This is when he switched sides and decided to save her from the wine merchant who was about to poison her.
Maisie Williams and Charles Dance were terrific in that scene. Wish they made a road trip movie or murder mystery miniseries together as grandfather and granddaughter
@05:30: Tywin thinks that the assassin wanted to murder him. He is wary of poisoning now. He is using Arya to test his food. So, he is not exactly kind to her 😅
See, in this episode - every man is pretty much a man of no honour: The Hound -for killing the defenceless butcher boy Then - for betraying The Starks and killing burning and hanging the two boys; Jorah Mormont - for betraying Danaerys (and trading slaves) .... And then if you listen to Jamie, he may be the least dishonorable of them all, even if you condemn him. It is his duty to try to escape, can't blame him for this.
They ended the episode making you ladies want to see the next one right away. We call those 'cliffhangers' because you feel like you are hanging over a cliff and only the next episode can save you. The good news is you don't have to wait a week like we did when GoT first aired.
18:55 it would seem the MMLs have missed an important plot point. If you listen to the dialogue of King Baratheon about Dany-you will discover this point.
In a way-there is a purpose to his evil. He uses evil with a reason to an end. I think he also recognizes that evil can cause more problems than solutions, so it is to be used wisely.
Jorah betrayed Dany by spying on her for Robert. Robert said he could return to the kingdom in return for his services. Remember, Jorah said he was banished by Ned for selling slaves.
Having to wait from week to week for each episode was torture and even worse waiting years between each season. You atleast can enjoy watching each episode whenever you want now.
Now it seems im waiting week to week for their GOT reactions cuz theyre busy reacting to movies too..... and its torture all over again!!!!! I cant wait for them to get to S3-E9.
@jaimeontiveros7684 the week long wait I feel is good for the show and building the excitement from episode and episode. I remember I used to get together with a bunch of friends to watch the new episodes every Sunday. It was so much fun that you don't get with Netflix shows that dropped all the episodes at once.
11:35 Hella-are you making fun here? “let me help you” , “but tell me how”? I don’t think you would prefer-here is how I’m going to help you!!! Or “do as I say”. AmIwrong?
Start with either The Original Series, it's movies, or The Next Generation. The J.J. Abrams movies are a poor introduction to Star Trek, they have the outward appearance of being Star Trek but lack its spirit.
Ya I keep sayin "2 a week" too haha. Don't wanna overwork the editor tho I'm sure but it's a perfect show to watch two at a time with! You "get your fill" more properly and all that, plus I think we would all appreciate not havin to wait a year to finish the entire series, plus it gets to a new series like "Breaking Bad" or something that much sooner too! 😀
