Small side bit. It isn't the vows and the exchange of rings (exchange of garlands, traditionally), it is the circling the sacred fire seven times. When that is completed, they are legally man and wife. Agni, the Fire God, is a witness to the wedding, so they have a very reliable witness to the event. According to Indian courts, the seven circles (circle = phera, so saat phera, or just pheras) are the key part of a Hindu wedding.

1) Foreign girls that Indian dudes go after, just look like lighter skinned Indian chicks. 2) Most Indian dudes prefer Indian women. Women From their culture.
This not indian wedding it became more outside wedding when bride kissed groom in front of everyone. Kissing is not part of wedding. And todays marriage don't know the actual meaning.
