Kelly Hansen of Foreigner surprises elevator riders in a sing-a-long of their hits! See them live with Cheap Trick on The 40th Anniversary Tour: livemu.sc/2i02TxR Subscribe to Live Nation on RU-vid: lvn.at/LNSubscribe
I just had the pleasure of seeing you perform at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh last weekend. You were just amazing. We had a great time! Even from the lawn seats it was a great experience.
So sad Foreigner's doing their last tour. Kelly's a phenomenal frontman. I hope he'll continue on maybe as a solo artist or be the new coach on The Voice after Blake Shelton leaves. I would love to see him do that. I watch the Voice a lot.
I did get on a elevator in Denver in 1979. Doors open up and there stands Ric Ocasek of the Cars. He wasn't singing, but we did talk for a minute. It was crazy. He's 6'4", with about 4 inches of hair 4 inch boots. I felt really short.
first time seeing this! I literally rolled on da floor! seriously not kidding & couldnt stop! Sent this to everybody on my contact list @kellyhansenrocks
A lot of passionate Lou Gramm fans who see anyone else in his spot as sacrilegious, lol. I've enjoyed the music of Foreigner for almost as long as they've been making records, but I wouldn't know Gramm if I fell over him. To me it's what comes across in the music, whether it's done live or recorded. . . .original tracks with Gramm or the stuff they've been doing since Kelly started with the band. It's Foreigner, and as far as I'm concerned they've always stayed true to the original sound and that's what most Fans come to hear.
Kelly's the awesome guy from foreigner, cause Kelly'voice is beautiful then lou from foreigner Kelly's awesome then lou from foreigner. my mom was a foreigner fan, cause I was a foreigner fan.now my moms.gone.londa small from Logan Ohio 43138
This is the strangest video advertisement for a 40th Anniversary show. I am not sure why Foreigner would approve of this, because it clearly shows that no one knows who the new singer for the band is. They recognize the songs, but they have looks on their faces of, who is this singing Lou Gramm's songs in an elevator. If Lou Gramm was singing his hit songs with the elevator opening, everyone would be going wild. I really hope Live Nation comes up with something better because this is a big show, a 40th Anniversary Show. These artists are legends in the music industry. They have been through the good, the bad and they are still rockin' for the fans. These are great songs that generations to come will still be singing/playing for generations to come.
Pretty sure everyone in this video was in on the production of it. Don't think that these were random elevator riders. But Kelly Hansen sounds great to me!
It's true, a lot of people think of Foreigner and Lou Gramm comes to mind but many people have continued to follow the band after Gramm's departure and those people recognize the "new singer" as Kelly Hansen who's been doing lead vocals for Foreigner since 2005. 12 years with the band hardly makes him the new singer. This commercial is hilarious. I love it and I love Kelly. I've seen him 6 times over the years and he's got amazing stage presence! Tons of energy and great interaction with the crowd.
