Hi, love your videos! But one important point to know. Sicilian is an actual language it is not a dialect. Sicilians are very proud of the fact that Sicilian is a language. I moved to Sicily 3 years ago and my family is from Sicily. I am a dual citizen USA & ITALY. Enjoy your travels! 😊

I'm right there with you. I will have to get by with English and Spanish 😅. Definitely trying to learn key words and phrases in Italian for my honeymoon trip in April. Great video!

Have a fantastic honeymoon! You're going to have a great time. When in doubt, use hand gestures!

What a beautiful video ! I am Sicilian born in the city of Palermo ( la Vucciria ) but have lived in the USA since I was very young . Thank God I have been back many times and will be moving back before the end of the year, for good! I have many friends from Mexico who are from all over Mexico and I love and respect them very much ( very similar cultures ). One of my friends would like to go to Sicily with me and open a Mexican restaurant in Palermo. One friend is named Martine, great guy. I also have a friend who is from Agrigento and sings with a a group called the 3 Sicilian Tenors . Would love to meet both of you when I return to Sicilia, so stay in touch ! Audious Amigos

Sorry, I tried the Milze at Antica Focacceria San Francesco in Palermo and it is definitely an acquired taste. I just could not finish it.

Family, great food, beautiful weather and scenery but overshadowed by organized crime. Sicilians share many parallels with Mexicans. But your guys' videos help remove the stigmas and misconceptions by showing the positives, good things and best things Sicilians & Mexicans have to offer. "Like"

Such a cute video! I also noticed as a sicilian the similarities between Mexico and Sicilia, I'm glad you guys mentioned it. Fun fact: where I live "bedda picciotta" is actually "bedda carusa". Sicilian language may have variations depending on the area, it's not really a dialect if you think about it.

So glad you like our video! That's so interesting to know that the language differs even further based on region. Thanks for sharing!

Just a curiosity. How did your Mexican aunt met your Sicilian uncle?

I am 54% Sicilian and yet I have so many food allergies I probably can’t visit there.

Such a pretty area! Yes, Sicily and Mexico seem to have important things in common, you guys must feel comfortable there. Martin has a lot of family there!
