Forensic Garment Examination 

A technique to collect DNA from a garment obtained from a victim at the crime scene where punctures with blood or saliva stain are present. The stains can be sampled using a tape lift technique or using saline and nylon brush provided in the ASAP lab forensic DNA collection kit.
This technique is usually used at the laboratory where entire garment is submitted for examination. However this can be used at the scene where appropriate
