Hello! Do you think you can provide the links to the articles that interested you in forensic dentistry? It's a fascinating topic for sure and I'd like to learn more.
Sorry for this delayed response but we have scheduled the next airing of our Forensic Odontology webinar with Dr. Draft this morning. We recommend you sign up and attend to learn more about how you can be involved within Forensic Dentistry as an assistant. The webinar will be held on September 13th, 2022 and the link is good until then: attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3511484322498624781
@@GarrisonDental do you have another webinar coming up? I just ran across this video and bren dental assistant for 18yrs and this sounds like an interesting aspect to the dental field I’d be interested in!
We will probably be doing Dr. Draft's forensic webinar again later in the year. To keep up-to-date, you can monitor this page on our website (garrisondental.com/learning or www.garrisondental.com/learning?type[ce_webinar]=ce_webinar&search_api_language[en]=en). We also email invitations out to those set up in our system. To get you set up, you can email marketing@garrisondental.com and we'll get you sorted.
A dental assistant can be involved with working on forensic cases alongside a forensic dentist. The dental assistant's duties would include casework and office charting. Dental records are vital to identification cases and must be original charts and x-rays, not copies.
