Just cause something doesn’t foam up doesn’t mean that it isn’t working or cleaning. It just doesn’t contain sodium laureth sulfate, which isn’t a bad thing actually. I have the Luna mini as well and it is water proof because I use it in the shower. Maybe you could have exchanged it for a new one instead since it stopped working
Aha! Finally I found someone who compared the Luna to the cheap silicone “brush". I noticed that too when I first looked at the Luna. Thanks for reassuring that the expensive gadget is not necessarily better :-)
There used to be a facewash by Neutrogena I think called 360? It had a silicone pad like the one you have that popped in and out of the packaging! I used to love it!

I just received mine one today and what a huge disappointment. Where everyone claims pulsation i literally had my whole hand vibrating which is not what i was expecting- nothing i would like to feel on daily basis..beside mine one came in open box already so have no idea if it was used or not. Will return
Thank you for your honest review! I wish I had seen your video before I purchased my Foreo mini 2. I’m thinking about returning it because my face doesn’t feel clean after using it. I will be looking for one of these manual scrubbers and save some money. :)
Thank you so much for this video. I just purchased the same silicone brush as the one in the video. I love it and the results that I got. So I decided to purchase the foreo mini 2 this month with Sephora's sale. I have decided not too now. Thank you!
I got a mini facial from Sephora the other day, and she used the Foreo on me. Personally, I wasn’t impressed. It didn’t feel like the thing was foaming or giving me a deep clean or anything, and really, I didn’t find it comfortable. I get a much deeper clean with my Clarisonic (although it makes me break out, but that’s a different story). I wanted to like it because silicon is a better product, it’s more hygienic, it would save money in the long run as far as not having to replace brush heads, but I just wasn’t sold
+Natalie Rodriguez you should try the silicone scrublet. You might really like it! I find a get a much deeper clean and it almost exfoliates my skin and makes it much softer.
luna is not cheap for a reason: it does work for really. regarding vibration- it is exactly the reason why luna works wonders not only for cleanse but for tonning your face! p.s first i bought cheap one - 8$ something trash, that made me to spend 120$ for original luna to get the real results unlike the fake ones.
Don't spend $6 on that scrub pad...search "silicone face cleaner" or something similar on eBay and they have them for 99c! They also have other ones for a bit more (including chinese luna dupes for like $6-8). You can also search "silicone makeup brush cleaner" to see they have tons of makeup brush cleaning pads...i bought one for $1.50 that sucks onto my sink around the drain so my hands don't get soggy anymore. Or you can suction on to the bottom of a tupperware so you can reuse the soap on multiple brushes. Anyway thanks for saving me from a purchase that probably wouldn't work! You made some valid points!
There’s some on shopmissa.com for only $1. I got a couple of them and I love them! They have a lot of stuff for only $1, even beauty blender type sponges! There’s some RU-vidrs that have done hauls from shopmissa, that’s how I found it!
