Well done! The best all-inclusive timeline I've seen to date.

I watched the other videos in this series and liked them. I also read the responses you made to my comments. There’s also no need to apologize for late responses like you did in a different reply. I still need to get around to responding. I tend to be VERY bad with responding on time due to a combination of other things coming up, bad procrastination, and forgetting until something reminds me. I also tend to hyper fixate on stuff and then something else comes along that grabs my attention. Something that’s interesting about Offensive Bias’s design is that Bungie was going to add Guardian Sentinels that had the same shape. They would’ve appeared in the cut Guardian Forest mission (the Guardian map with the giant trees is what remains of it) where you’d be able to remove their eyes to use as a weapon, and at the end of the level you’d see a cutscene where a large Sentinel went up and wrecked Truth’s fleet. At one point in development the Guardian Sentinel would be a large boss, and at a different point it would’ve been a mini boss/stronger enemy. I’m personally NOT a fan of the Endless being immune to the Rings since in a botched attempt to raise the stakes 343 invalidated the purpose of the Ring where they’re this last resort that kills EVERYTHING that isn’t safe outside the range on inside a shield world. I really like the inclusion of new aliens, but it could’ve been handled far better (all signs point to them being Precursors). Not entirely sure what my thoughts on a group of Forerunners and ancient humans surviving since the whole point of the original trilogy is like the previous paragraph the Rings killed everything. All that remains of the Forerunners was their megastructures/relics, automated drones, their descendants (us), and the species they indexed before activating the Rings. If done right it can allow for more storytelling potential, but I’m not a big fan of that. Maybe, if I read the books those characters were from I’d be more open to their return. Good video and good luck on the next series. That will be interesting to see.

Regardless one would think about 343 industries decision I think we could all agree that the origin given for the Flood by Greg Bear It’s not only I consider be origins stories done, right as not only we know about the origins of the flood but also It makes them even more horrifying as they are literally lovecraftian cosmic horror?
