When all that you have in your heart and want to say to your loved one and you just can't find the right words for it, then Forest comes along and all of a sudden it makes sense and all of a sudden everything can be put into words very easily. I met someone through sheer luck and circumstance right before finalizing a very drawn-out and painful divorce, and they just went through a painful breakup...it didn't start as a romance, but the more we get to know each other, the more we are realizing why we were meant to meet. This song really puts into words how I am feeling right now ❤ Sometimes when we hold on, it feels hopeless, but when you find those good things and people in life, it makes it a little less hard to handle.

When you're falling for someone you hear all the classic couples songs: Broken Road, All Of Me, I Swear, Can't Stop Falling in Love, A Thousand Years, I'm Yours ... and they all speak to you but in slightly different ways. They all mean something to you but you can't put your finger on why you don't think that's "your song" together. Then you hear a song and ... it's not overplayed, in fact it's not played enough. You feel some of the lines in ways that you know aren't generic, aren't overplayed. The last two years sucked in so many ways. This year I got to fall in love again. She said "Fall into me ... and I'll catch you darlin..." and all I could say was ... yes. THIS is our love. THIS is our song. 🥰
