Forrest, it's a sad day for me. Now one of the saddest after hearing this version of I chose you. I did immediately follow the merchbar suggestion and purchased the cd. I just wish it was a signed copy, but that's ok. So why is today so😢 for me? It's my last day for my music program in North Philadelphia. For the last 4 weeks, i have set my alarm for 3am and have left my condo by 4am. I walk 2.4 miles to a ptco train station. I arrive in center city Philadelphia and then take the Broad Street Spur to the Olney transportation center. I then walked another 1.6 miles to a school that was built in 1937. The view is amazing of this old historic building. Big bricks and large floor tiles. It would take 500 million to even try to build another like this gem. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to keep up with repairs, and of coarse, it was another summer with no air-conditioning. I'm going to miss the 50 children . I'm going to miss the employees that I had the pleasure of working with. I'm going to miss the old Lester Piano that I had the prevelidge to play on. Forrest, the notes ran with such pleasure to my ears. I don't think I'll ever hear another instrument that sounded so 😍 beautiful and angelic. At the age of 55, I do not know how many more opportunities I'll have to teach music or write a song with a group of children. Our new All-stars anthem was inspired by guitarist Christie Lenee and written by myself. Yesterday, when time came for our first appearance in front of the parents, I saw an entire group of scared faces. Programs and events like yesterday don't often happen with a small crowd in the room. I didn't say a word. I didn't make them stand up. I saw the fear in their eyes. I counted to four and hit my guitar as hard as I could. They started to sing. They started clapping. My premiere vocalists came in, and music poured from the 💕 hearts. It was beautiful. For one brief moments my student's from ages 5 to 11 put on a once in a lifetime performance, and I never felt prouder. At 55 now, I just hope I get to experience this feeling just a few more times before I leave this body. Thanks for giving some of us in of your cell numbers. Thanks for inspiring myself. Thanks, Forrest, for again stopping your own performance in Philadelphia and made a special moment for me and a philaoina woman named Mely Luya. march 25 will mark the one year anniversary of me and my girlfriend. I have one or two more years left until I can see that beautiful face of hers and I get to wrap her up in my arms and play this song in the background, while we just slow dance in the kitchen.
