I'm Trying to quit smoking so i can go on day long hikes in wooded areas without getting winded and this music is just so inspiring wish me the best everyone
What helped me quit was just associating smoking with anxiety. Each time I smoked I felt a rush of energy, but an energy I knew at the core was artifically induced. Smoking not only affects the smoker and not only second hand bystanders, but the chemicals from the cigarette butts leach into our soils and water ways polluting and killing life. Keep this in mind and I am sure you will interpret this artifical head rush of energy as your body's way of coping with a poisonous and harmful substance. This should induce a negative experience and may over time lead you to quit. Good luck.
I live in Manaus, capital os the state of Amazonas,in the very heart of the Brazilian rainforest. Since my early childhood i have the priviledge to listen to Mother's Nature fantastic symphony. whenever i am fed up with big cities' busy lifestyle, i drive my car throug BR 174, which is a federal highway that cuts through the forest. After driving for a half- hour time,i stop and keep listening to birds singing and to the trees whispering their secrets. Then i am filled with peace and i remember what my role is in the planet.
One of the reasons I like this channel is that I go into the comments and they're flooded with positivity and people helping each other or inspiring each other, professionals giving advice, beginners sharing things they've found. And on top of all that, beautiful music. This is where I go for advice, inspiration, or just a place to harbor and recharge when I'm having a bad day. Thank you all for this virtual lotus pool. Derek and Brandon just gained a loyal subscriber, and if anyone is having a bad day, I'll point them to here. Thank you all.
Music can really get the best out of people, there is not a lot of negativity here because people that like this type of music are usually relaxed, calm, open-minded, and want to share with other people. Nothing to discuss or hate down here.
Only just found this channel, Retro , and have not had the chance to verify what you say , but if you are correct , then this is what I have been looking for pretty much since RU-vid began ! It will certainly make a fefreshing change from the usual spiteful and ill informed rantings that blight my screen
Tbh, I think music can make anyone calm and serene, so long as its instrumental, much like these songs. And I wholeheartedly agree on this being something to help calm and relax. Hell, I'd even say, light some incense/scented candles, take a warm bath, read a book, or meditate to these songs. It'll make you more lax and calm.
comments are usually so negative, but these are filled with love! the comments mixed with the music just make me really happy inside! there is good in the world still!
I live in Southern Louisiana, all my life I've loved and felt a special connection with forests. There is a nice spot that is quite a drive from anywhere, the trees close in over the road making a natural tunnel. I like to stop in the road and shut my car off, and just stand around for a while listening to all the birds, crickets, and other sounds of life. No cars, no people, no nothing except life as it should be for a bit. Its a needed recharge from time to time.
Wild woods: peaceful and calm(ing) Leafblade forest: also coming Elven woods: a bit eery but beautiful, almost as if the listener is actually listening to elves sing The forgotten forest: kinda sad, maybe the sad music in a story preceding a battle for the forest, or preparing a journey through an ancient forest to save someplace/thing/one. Forest gathering: gives me the desire to go live in the woods and create several tribes. A bit spooky at times, but overall it's just beautiful and has a very tribal vibe to it. Dryad forest: a journey to stop a deadly battle. Strong forest feel. Woodland nymph: cute, a bit sad as well. Maybe something was lost in time and this is reflecting it. It goes on and shows much more powerful emotion. At times screams freedom. I almost cry when I hear this song. Fairy forest: after a long fight, you're finally halfway, and you find a beautiful land. It's a happy song. It would make amazing end credit music for a lot of things. Things are gonna be okay. Mushroom woods: starts out like a lullaby. Later becomes stronger and more beautiful. Screams hope, lost times, and maybe a journey ahead. Or near the end of a journey/story. Woodland fairies: in a forest grove, you can see fairies just beyond some of the trees. You're on a journey. Firefly woodlands: the end to a long journey, a bit sad. Darkwood forest: tribal, fast paced, tribal strength. Definitely a forest tribe feel to it, with rocky streams too. Autumn forest: I get a very forest-y feeling with this one. Change of seasons, or just change in general are also feeling I get. Maybe a farewell, someone leaving on a journey, either one to save the kingdom/tribe or a leader moving on to the next life. Snowflake woods: an empty world following a terrible battle. A young white creature wanders, seeing the destruction for the first to third time. It's sad but finds peace and acceptance. Raindrop woods: something caused a tribe or clan to separate, now the members wander alone.its sad but beautiful. These were just my feelings
Mint Mochi I was gonna say, the word I've always heard associated with this term is sehnsucht. Never heard of fernweh before! There's also "Saudade" in Spanish, a similar term
There’s a small patch of woods behind my house with a creek and whenever I fell the need to escape I follow the creek to a fallen telephone pole, (which I found while exploring) climb up it, (it’s slanting slightly upwards) and sit at the top. I then put on this playlist and the listen to the sounds of nature around me. It’s a wonderful ways of escape and it helps me forget the stress of the day.
Was thinking along the same lines, esp. since anything I've got are much more engaging music, which we can not listen to while discussing stuff out. :D
+The Magic Crafter ... So, when cleaning your room, you decided that "Forest Music" would be fitting? Uuuhhh... Soooo you, what, decided to clean it only after trees and moss started growing out of the floor and you saw a deer pass by? x'D
I have no words to describe what I fell when I hear some music like that. I... I... I fell so cool, how if I'm leastening a music that remember me home
hehe, i'm at the 2nd minutes of the video, and this is exactly what i thought, the songs make me think about zelda's one, and a comment just under say exactly the same !
thanks for this beautiful music, wend i have a bad day after work here i find peaceful and i really love to see this positive comments, i love you all my friends for that, i wish you to all a beautiful day and positive
A slow stream is gushing softly nearby, sending the strings of your heart bwating along with the melody of this existance. Pure joy fills your heart as you sit there, the elves majestic voices sounding like the meaning of life. That is what I feel now, so thank you.
It's not a genre... Well, I guess you could call it that. No, it's not really a genre. It's just what it sounds like, or a style. I don't really know. But either way, it's not an official genre. While I must mind, that it's beautiful music!
This makes me want to go live in the woods in the center of the same island Victoria, British Columbia is on. Maybe someday I'll move up there and buy a Volkswagen hippie van complete with fold out couch-bed, mini fridge, wifi, and kitchen. Now if only I could make it fly too.
that music ringing a really calm message in my ears "sons and daughters of earth return to me ,your beloved mother in the trees in the skys in falling leaves, i will be there to embrace you, dont forget me i will always be there for you, remember you will always be part of me"
I am about halfway listening to this for the first time and I've got to say, I think this is amazing. So far Fairy Forest is probably my favorite. It's so whimsical, I just love it.
As one who grew up in the forest but is now going to school in a prairie city, this was nice to listen to! It's even helping make studying for finals easier. Thank you for posting this!
THIS IS WHAT I play to my two wonderful Bunny Rabbits in the evening,, they show an avid and magical appreciation,, I am spellbound by their responses. A truly blissfull time...
This kind of music makes me feel like i am in pure peace and i am home,in the forest, running along the river, seeing my reflection in the calm river slowly turning into a feral cat or a wild wolf.i really love it.
Derek & Brandon, this is the 1st time I tune in here and it is absolutely beautiful. Talent from the heart and soul. Global peace/compassion Music for this world I wish for you to compose...... my heart aflutter....................thank you.
That’s very beautiful sound for me to let me relax riding on my horse 🐎 through forest 🌳 and driving my 18 wheeler 🚛 truck through the woods along the road.
Thank you so much for all the music you guys have composed. The ambience allows me to forget where I am and allow me to imagine what it would be like to wander through the many places of fantasy. Always a sublime experience.
you talk of longing....the godesses embrace.....the pulse of the grass, the movement of the sun, the time lapse shadows of a quiet baby observer....i rested in my pram in a garden of sunlight....eternal love and fertilty all around me....richness of soil and praise to god and our joy in being here...do not let the evil men destroy our paradise
Now that passed some time I can give some of the prologue, the book pass in the ages of the saloon dance(it means 1940-1930) in a steampunk world, is a romance, that pass in France, Marco is a stranger, age:22, who tried to enter in an college of arts of the city of cabrista, (a fake city for the book) but he fails on it, so in remorse of he's parents, later of finding a old friend, he funded a pretty girl going to a small dance club,(that world we don't have these old times problems with the independence of the woman, so they are free to work or whatever they wanna do){and yeah that will be explicated more completely on the book}, so on this "dance of love" he back on his own dancing time, to show her that he is something more. So there it is, I'm still writing it so it may take some time, plz enjoy
This helps me sleep and calms me when i'm angry. I deal with a lot of depression, anxiety and anger, this playlist has been a great help for me. Thank you.
Well . . It IS beautiful. . . The forests and the streams were amazing . . . Even the Weeds had beauty. . . Young people, I am sorry your memories all come from an electronic game. There was no place else to go . . .
Love it! So beautiful! Also love elven woods. Sounds like elvish.....sounds like beginning of LOTR when Galadriel speaks of the world and the ring. Some sound a bit erie but I like it!
Très belle forêt sublime pour laisser place aux angoisses qui nous empêche de faire un tour dans le calme.musique très appaisante bravo pour toutes ces beautés superbes 👍💗🌾🥀🌲🌴🌵🌄🦠🦜
I just want to thank you guys. You have help me so much! If my books ever turn into moviee you would the people I want what to compose the soundtrack! Always keep creating! Thanks agin!
wow just....wow. me and my mates have been looking for a playlist of forest music for our dungeons and dragons campaign as most of the first hour is in a forest...needless to say we could all agree this is the one to use
I love the hums of the woman's voice though she sounds very much like an elven warrior, so strong and brave :] I imagine she's watching over the forest to ensure its safety and help restore growth! this picture also reminds me so very much of woods around me, emerald and the way the trees contrast with the water is so very beautiful and the white water is the definition of purity and grace as it trickles over the rocks :] The stone bench looks like it might be a resting place for the elves after a long hunt and moss is like a soft green carpet alluding to all the wonders of the music :] Thanks so much Fietchters! So mysterious and beautiful music!!! there's nothing as amazing as the forest!
This is one of my all time favourites on youtube. When I listen to this, I am once again convinced that there is still goodness and calmness in the world. Thank you.
The Music Is Beautiful! I listen To Your Music All the Time Because It is very Peaceful And Soothing! I Like How Each Piece of Music is Different From Each other! Your Music Makes Me Feel like Myself! Thank You For Making his Wonderful Music!
This is awesome. I was rather scared to listen, expecting some easy listening unmelodic shopping mall background stuff, but this is really really good :)
Mushroom woods at 35:58 is my favorite. It reminds me of Hans Zimmer's Kung Fu Panda soundtrack with a woodland twist to it. So good! I am very grateful for this and I think that you guys are naturals at composing music. Have you ever thought about composing music for short films, TV, or movies? I think that you would definitely be up for it!
when you get lost in the woods and have your phone but its only on 20%. But you forgot you can call for help. you just sit down and listen to this. Good Job, this music is great.
This is great music. I'm writing a book and this music kinda helps me since the book's setting is in the forest :D Thanks Derek & Brandon Fiechter for posting!
This is such great music to write to, very relaxing and atmospheric, perfect for fantasy especially! Woodland Nymph is definitely my favorite but I like all the songs included here! :)
If you love someone and they love you, just enjoy instead of worrying. Marry him/her. If you love someone and they don't love you back, just move on instead of worrying. It means they don't deserve your love in the first place.
What he said was reasonable and doesn't create broken hearts, the opposite does. How much unneeded pain is created because people cant let go of things. People want things they can't have and thus it creates pain. And even when people could be perfectly happy they still worry about too many things.
Alex seriously though I don't agree. Promiscuity is never going to meet your needs, and will cause destruction. You don't have a real true authentic love for one person you lust thinking it's love both get broken and so do children. You gonna tell the children that same bullshit?!!!! Oh yeah just let go it's broken homes are ok Daddy is gone but just let go. So fuck obviously you don't get it hahahaha. thanks again for your time. thanks 😂😂😂😂
The "It means they don't deserve your love in the first place" part is kinda wrong if you thing about it for more than 2 seconds... Sounds nice, but is hot garbage nontheless.
