Two maths? So great, folks! Thanks for your review! To answer a few questions: All illustrations of species are from the same illustrator, Tony Llobet, and we really appreciate his style which adds tremendously to the realistic feel of the game play. The hedgehog might be a bit of a poser - but no, no fotos involved. :) Marking spots in the clearing: well, in fact, this card game mirrors nature, and like that, you have to watch out, even the clearing keeps you at your toes... But rest assured: we got a lot of feedback on this one and with the next print run, we will add markings on one side of the clearing to offer you free choice: go with markings or play it wild. And thanks for showing off you know your maths, too! :)
Hot tip - lay the cards out horizontally along the center board. So much easier to see two rows of five than to count ten cards every turn! We had our first play today.
Have played once on Board Game Arena it was really good. My partner and I enjoyed it. Bit crowded on BGA be nice to see it on the table if we get our hands on it
It does make it a lot easier to look at your forest, and more importantly to see what everyone else is doing. So Jess can't sneakily surprise me with 100+ points just for all the birds I thought I was just discarding.
