I love your words at the beginning. I wish I had known as a child that skill comes from lots of practice, and that no one is born an expert in anything. So many things I wanted to do but thought I wasn't able to because I wasn't as good as professionals the first time I tried!

I got the Himi gouache set for Christmas and have been feeling too intimidated to try painting anything. The blank pages in my watercolor book seem both exciting because of the potential and yet scary because if I mess up it is forever in there. To see you, someone with so much talent, also have doubts about painting a picture was really inspiring. I think I'll stop making excuses and just start, and maybe with some practice (probably a LOT of practice) I'll be able to make beautiful paintings too! Thanks for doing these paint with me videos; this channel is the reason I want to try painting and you create such beauty, thank you for sharing it with us.

Dear Tugce, I just wanted to say that you and your videos has really inspired me to try painting with gouache. After watching some of your videos I bought the HIMI colors and I just love the medium! It is challenging to find the right nuances, because the paint is very matte and I don’t now the actual result before it has dried. But it is pure fun, and I like the possibility to make many layers. Your stile made me want to paint nature pictures, so now I am doing a collection of paintings of gardens which actually turned out really nice… much better than anticipated!
