Hello bro, so far *touchwood* I have yet to have any encounter with leeches. But when fishing in areas like these, i usually wear tights + socks where my whole leg will be covered including both feets and ankles. Hope that helps! 😁
@@mqfish Lot of weed and vegetation, ul cannot survive in that environment. Survival among the fittest. Next time, 10-20lbs rod, 20lbs mainline. Hehe... Good video btw. Love the edit!
Would love to make a return to magical forest if I have the chance! Soon I hope ☺️ Too many places to try fishing but I’m struggling with the little time I have 🥲
Hello Duck, thank you for the message. Yes I still use the rod for ultralight games on BFS occasionally. Very comfortable to cast personally on light lures. I think the spinning would be even easier to cast for distance as well when you’re on lighter lures. Personally I feel this is an inexpensive travel rod option without any compromise on quality. Fuji guide etc and a rod that you might want to consider if price is a factor. I feel it’s worth for what you pay for imho (coming from an avid travel rod user/collector) Hope that helps and enjoy fishing 🎣 😁
Hey bro. Loving the cinematography, editing and narration. Do continuing making more videos! The suria bit cracked me up too. I just acquired this rod and took it out yesterday. Caught a big eyed jack and halfbeak. It's my new fav travel bfs rod! 72g rod with good strength. Awesome video!
Hey bro Matthew! Thank you so much and I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Indeed the Kuying travel rod I must say is one of the most value for money and one tough rod! Congrats on the first few catches on the new rod! I bet the fight on the ultralight rod must’ve felt really good especially for saltwater fishing! Keep fishing and Tightlines bro!
damn, the amount of effort you put into a short fishing trip is unreal. crisp video quality, juicy b-rolls and amazing colour-grading work. genuinely pleasing to watch! just a little surprised with how little subscribers you have. im subbing, you'll be landing that toman in no time. curious question though, is that java fern in your tank? i got a keen eye for these kind of stuff, maybe you could provide us with some aquarium content in the future? what fish do you keep in there? ps, sick vans hoodie and that fender just peeking to the left is looking pretty clean too. anyway, quality stuff dude, keep it up!
Wow! Thank you so much for your kind support and words Brandon! I’m super thankful and happy to know that you enjoyed the video and the amount of details you spotted is simply amazing! From the aquarium plants, guitars and even the color grading. Thank you once again 🙏🏻 Perhaps I should do a room/office tour next time and introduce to you guys the fishes in the background! Those are Channa species back there. 3 different tanks ranging from a Golden Channa, Channa Pulchra and Channa Andrao. And I suppose you’re a guitarist too? And it’s Nice meeting you here Brandon! More videos coming up! 😁
@@mqfish you're welcome dude, it's the fact that fishing is such a niche genre in the SEA scene so it's refreshing to see someone who put a lot of effort in it. I'm a big fan of channa fishes too, looking forward to that office tour! Im not a guitarist tho ive worked in a guitar shop before so i put 2 and 2 together hahaha
Yes there are quite a number of Lucius here in Singapore. They are our native species. Just that we don’t see them in highly pressured and busy waters like our local reservoirs ☺️
Kudos bro! Your videos have been immensely progressed throughout the videos. Great cinematography and music choice. Very much prefer the new genre of music as it is the nature of fishing - to relax. Hope you get the support you deserve. PS: just a wild guess, are you inspired by 618 fishing? Maybe you could get a cap mount for better POV shots!
Hey bro! Thank you so much for your continuous support to the channel and the word of encouragement! Really appreciate it! 😁 Agree with the relaxing part and kinda took me awhile to actually search for the right music! Oh yes! 618 fishing is definitely one of the many vloggers here on RU-vid which I’m really inspired by. Good spot bro! Perhaps I should give it a try next time for the cap Mount! Thank you for your suggestion and glad you enjoyed the video bro ☺️☺️
