Forestella is a group that was made in JTBC broadcasting. Of course they are all native koreans.i think it is a little bit different from the everage kpop artists.I think they are much more than them .

This is not my first time watching their performance but it's still giving me goosebumps. There are so many great vocalists who have done cover versions of Bohemian Rhapsody but I've only seen acapella arrangements without the instruments or a completely different genre which were kind of ruining the song for me. Especially with the covers of female artists, the opera part was a throw off for me because of the key change (not because of their voices or their ability to sing - don't get me wrong - just mentioning the arrangement) But Forestella has done such a spectacular job of going full rock opera as was originally intended for the original song and added the new flavour of harmony with each unique voices. Amazing!!

Hi Sofie, thank you very much for reacting to Forestella's performance! Just for your information, they are a crossover group like Il Divo. Forestella means forest+stella ('star' for Italian). They were formed through a music competition show, Phantom Singer Season 2, in which the contents ultimately form a quartet. The members are Min Gyu Cho, Hyung Ho Kang, Doo Hoon Bae, and Woo Rim Ko. Woo Rim has the Bass voice tone and he was classically trained. Min Gyu is also classically trained and he is a tenor, specifically a tenore leggiero, who tend to have sharp and clear tone of voice. Doo Hoon is a musical actor and has R&B/pop tone of voice. Hyung Ho was not a professional singer before joining Forestella. He has a voice range of counter tenor and soprano. He also used to be a vocal in an amateur rock band, so he also has the rock style. I hope you enjoy other performances of Forestella.

Hello, I'm a fan of Forestella. Thank you for SoFie's great reaction to the Bohemian Rhapsody of Forestella.

I have an awesome surprise that will blow you and your readers minds if you love Korean vocal groups. Well, not quite a group. A non-group! Let me explain. What makes this video I’m going to recommend so mind blowing is because it is finalists in a Korean singing contest ( I believe comprised of 4 males) all together singing a song ( that was a hit by Kim Yeon Woo who was center stage intermittently singing along) and they did such a spectacular rendition that in the comments section some commenters said they should form their own group -no matter who won. And I absolutely concur. Just my opinion but this song and rendition was one of the best most emotionally impactful heart wrenching performances I have ever heard . The best contest performance group I’ve ever heard in over 20 years of watching. If I were a Record producer I would sign them up and they may end up being as good as Forestella. Their voices and harmony is out of this world!!!! You’ll have to work to find it but trust me ( I found it yesterday and watched it over 5 times and it touches my heart and soul each time and I don’t understand a word of Korean. ) Please please please react ( privately if not publicly) and you will know why Korea has the best male female and group singers in the world! First RU-vid “ Kim Yeon Woo love the common word” Then you must scroll down ( maybe 12 to 14 videos) to a horizontal caption that reads Searches Related To Kim Yeon Woo” Then click on I believe the second vid. Here’s what it should look like: 5:16 timewise and on the screen are 4 males with the first male wearing glasses. Click and watch and OMG !!!!! OMG !!!! OMG!!! These are unknown vocalists but all with truly gifted voices. I hope someday they form a group! I would pay to hear them perform. You’ll have no recommendation for this so if you do watch it privately, will you let me know what you think. ? I love your Channel and eagerly await your next great K-pop discovery! Thank you, Sofie! They are vocal group specialized in crossover music. As you can see, their range of music is limitless. Please, pls react to more songs covered by Forestella. I recommned you 좋은걸 어떡해 (a sweet swing-jazz style song, possibly translated into ‘I cannot help liking you’) and 마법의 성 (somewhat like Disney OST :), meaning ‘a magic castle’) and Sound of silence, etc. I think you’ll get reeaally Wowed! at any performances and songs you watch. 좋은걸어떡해(I cannot help liking you) &마법의 성(a magic castle) can be found in Korean music program ‘Immotal songs 2’. You got the point well about them thru initial watching, thanks for your job. These guys were contestants at audition show ' Phantom singer 2 2017 ' and debuted as a 4 men band after winning the show. Yes, they are of full package who can perform rock to opera. Half of them studied classical music but rest half didn't left edge : Ko, woorim: Base, college student of classic vocal. 2nd from left: Kang, hyungho: both rocky & highest note- he was working as chemical researcher and singer of office workers' rock band. 3rd from left: Cho, minkyu- Crystal clear voice: He is tenor, studied classic vocal. Guy at right: Bae, doohoon - popstyle = musical actor.

Perhaps in France, it will be said not to show off food, in Italy, but not to show off clothes, and in Korea, not to show off songs. :)) As such, people who sing well are common in Korea. There are other great teams besides Forestella, so please listen to them a lot.

They maybe the best vocal group to perform this song, but as far as a band that played the instruments and sang all the parts, that is still Queen's crown to wear. By the way my favorite is the rock star guy. His voice is the one I've always wanted because it is so versatile. The bass does make the whole thing move. Until the next time.

Forestella just came out with a new ( in my opinion better) version of Bohemian Rhapsody and My Favorite Things in English and another song ( in Korean) on the same RU-vid. They are the best vocal group in the world.
