Thanks for checking out Forestella! They always do a great job putting their own spin on covers. Forestella is a crossover vocal group formed in 2017 on the South Korean TV show Phantom Singer 2, which they won! The members are Ko Woorim, Kang Hyungho, Cho Mingyu, and Bae Doohoon. Some more great performances to watch are Hijo de la Luna, Champions, Scarborough Fair, and Je Suis Malade (they have many more covers and originals too - you really can't go wrong). Thank you for your reaction! This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die! And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible. Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their majestic original song Utopia is a must check. Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. Hey, first time coming to this channel. Was interesting watching your reaction! Been a Queen fan all my life. They do like Queen and have covered Queen a few times over the years …this one was early 2020 at their Encore concert of their 2nd album ,Mystique, Concert tour from 2019. They have done We Are The Champions, and We Will Rock You back a few years ago and this year 3 of them started the Year of the Blue Dragon on 6th January with Queen’s THE SHOW MUST GO ON …the guy who leads them into the song is a 67 yr old Korean legendary guitarist …affectionately known as Little Giant…the show Forestella is on is in his honour Kim Soo-Cheol and New Friend. First time he’s played with them . Only 3 of them because the bass singer is doing his mandatory military service til May 2025. Queen influences in their original music video Utopia too.. see Save our Lives m.v first followed by Utopia…chapters 1 to3 followed by 4 to6 …so play in this order….part of a trilogy but 3rd not released yet. Watch Forestella videos to the end …until you see their logo. Another release they did just before Ko Woorim enlisted is STUCK IN A MAZE ….different again…English lyric is in their official channel in the comment section…interesting message. KThey do not confine themselves to any particular genre as you will find. Their 2021 performance of LAZENCA, SAVE US is epic. 2023 they did LEGENDS NEVER DIE. 2022 they did WARRIORS from League of Legends game theme and 2022 they did EXO’S MAMA..also an epic stage. Then there is DESPACITO & Shape of You ..not what you’d expect when you’re new. I don’t think you’re ready for INNER UNIVERSE …THE phantom singer All Stars Version…maybe do that later. And yes you are correct..2 are trained opera singers, Cho MinGyu and Ko Woorim , Kang HyungHo is a self-trained freaky versatile tenor soprano and rocksinger who is a former research chemist and the Bae Doohoon is a musical theatre actor with baritone tenor voice that is pretty versatile for rock and pop and r&b. They sing in English, Korean, French, Italian,Spanish,Latin,Russian and a smidgeon of Zulu.😅Each also has solo activities or as in the tenor soprano, Kang HyungHo , another identity as PITTA doing his rock act.

As always, just like every first time reactor I've watched, you appreciate all they have to offer. Thank you! Their covers, their more classic pieces, their originals are all good. Hijo De La Luna (Spanish - sung flawlessly in Spanish according to Spanish first language reactors) is my favorite and showcases Hyung Ho's amazing range. Their original song "Utopia" is another rock opera you might appreciate. The MV is typical of S Korea's Pop music videos - top quality production and sound. PS Thank you for breaking the stereotype of how someone with that many piercings speaks -and what they enjoy and appreciate.

Forestella first sang their version of Bohemian Rhapsody in the KBS Immortal Songs which is a kind of remake competition music entertainment show. It made them known to the world, and later they put it in their 2nd album titled Mystique. They had concert tour under the title Mystique. This video was filmed at the Mystique encore concert, the last of the tour. I prefer their Immortal Songs video because we can see their acting in the performance there. Here it's too dark to see it well.. I recommend Forestella Queen's best songs compilation video on KBS Jeonju channel. There are 2 more Queen renditions in addition to the very first performed Bohemian Rhapsody by Forestella.

Dicção perfeita, elogio vindo de especialistas de música dos respectivos países citados acima..😅 Eles transformam tudo que cantam com lindas hsrmonias arranjos novos e cantando uma unica musica em mais de 1 idioma.... eles tbm sao um grupo crossover, nao k-pop, como muitos confundem.
