FORESTELLA - KANG HYUNG HO - Phantom of the Opera - REACTION 

Thank you for watching Hyungho Kang (Pitta)'s stage. Hyungho Kang's 'The Phantom Of The Opera' has several versions and each has its own characteristics. Among them, the stage of the rock version, which is the current video, is the most famous. There are many singers who sing high and low notes, but what is surprising about him is that the switch is very fast and precise. Usually others have to practice their vocal chords a bit before switching to a different voice.

Hi~ Welcome to the world of FORESTELLA! For those who do not know about FORESTELLA, I'd love to tell you about this group briefly. They've met at a TV audition program called "Phantom Singer 2" which finds the best male cross-over quartet in South Korea in 2017 for the first time. These 4 guys were included(survived) in the final 12 singers among hundreds of applicants. And, the program PD divided those 12 amazing singers into 3 groups as the singers want. And, guess what? They (FORESTELLA = Forest + Stella(star)) won this contest!!! When they sing on the stage, they normally set their positions like this. The first one from the left side is Ko Woo-Rim (bass, a grad-schooler in vocal music), the second one is Kang Hyeong-Ho (soprano, ex-research chemist), the third one is Cho Min-Kyu (tenor, M.A. degree in vocal music) and the fourth one is Bae Doo-Hoon (baritone, musical actor) There're many amazing songs they've covered. Thank you for your reaction to PITTA (Kang HyungHo of Forestella). He was working as a research chemist in Lotte BP Chemical; quite good company providing high salary when he auditioned at Phantom Singer 2. As the audition was designed for making a (good-looking) classical crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea, there were bunch of opera singers who majored in classical vocal and well-known musical actors. He was the only office worker who majored in (chemical) engineering in whole participants. But he used to sing as a vocalist in an amateur rock band (the band name was Pitta but it became Pittaband afterwards) in his leisure time. He stole the show singing the Phantom of the Opera duet song by himself. His audition clip has more than 6 millions views now only from Koreans as JTBC didn't release the video for abroad..if it was shown in the RU-vid at that time, he could be known to the world like Paul Potts in Braitain's Got Talent. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in the labourers' band contest in Busan. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire from that contest. He used to cover Muse so he developed his falsetto that good. (He has very talented voice tho, great singing technique, too.) He said he thought he could quit from the music regretlessly with criticism he would get. But BAAMM! Thanks God he failed to quit from music! He quit from the research chemist job instead. lol He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. As a fan of him and of Forestella I truly appreciate for his decision from heart. I have been their fan for almost 6 years now... and believe me.. I still cry and have goosebumps every time I hear them.. (time in a bottle) is a masterpiece without a doubt.
