This is a Jim Croce song written in 1971 when his wife told him they were to have a child and was included in an album then but did not do much on the charts. In 1973 when he was on his way to perform in a concert, he was killed in a plane crash along with five others. The song became a hit posthumously. He was only 30. Forestella performed this in 2021 in a Phantom Singer ALL STARS competition….where the winners of the seasons 1 to 3 competed in friendly rivalry. Competition was strong, so they had to come up with performances that stood out and I believe the theme was to do a song that best shows your group’s skills. This is the memorable performance they came up with. Perhaps try and see the dynamics they create in LEGENDS NEVER DIE.…an Immortal Songs episode themed THE LAST SONG ..they had to choose a song they would sing if it was their last song ever on a stage. 😊

A very successful mix of genres and styles in which everything is really coordinated. Very unusual and extremely creative simply FORESTELLA.
Thank you for your fantastic reaction to Forestella again! This performance was for the 1st round of Phantom Singer All Stars. (I'll say PSAS) PSAS could be filmed because serious covid situation made every concert canceled. For that reason they had online audience and a few celeb guests only. All the finalists groups from 3 seasons were invited and each round had a specific themes. Forestella is the 2nd season's winner. Each season has 3 final groups and all the final 9 groups were invited to PSAS. The celebrity guests and online audience voted to someone they liked. There were 7 rounds with different theme. But one theme was solo performance representing the group and one theme was seasons' match. So each group had 5 songs as a whole group. They competed on the themes given and sometimes compete as solo, as member-changed quartet or duet in this show. The theme for the 1st round was making stage representing the own originality of themselves. As you saw they showed their originality like this. And I felt the lyrics was what they're talking to each other because they came through tough times together for years and share strong bond among them. BTW I got chills when I came to know the time was going backwards! See the clock face was reversed. These genius artists made me imagine a story about the Time in a bottle this way. Every time they make me love them even more than ever!
