I also had this game, and remember playing it a lot. The sounds themselves evoked a lot of nostalgia. I'm not sure I would call it a game due to its shallowness (as you pointed out) but it's definitely a toy with a specific age range. Thanks for the footage - it made my brain tingle.
I had this game as a kid. My gardening-obsessed mother got it for me. I enjoyed it, even if it wasn't one of my top favorites. It wasn't until a few years after I got it I fully understood how everything in the game worked.
i was only about four years old when my grandpa got his first (giant) home PC and this game for the grandkids to play on it. i still have super vivid memories of playing this for hours over the years, so funny what our brains remember. my grandpa passed last year and watching this/listening to these sounds again brought back lots of happy memories of him. thank you for posting!!
Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story about your grandpa. May his soul Rest In Peace, and also that you and your family may be always healthy and happy.
I remember being frustrated as a child at having no way to beat this game, because that was never its purpose. nevertheless i tried time and again. classic nostalgia
I used to play this game when I was a kid. The school I used to go to had this game too and the kids could play now and then. Good memories. Thank you very much for posting this.
Is the only reason why that you were using the CompactFlash Card on the 486 this time instead of the Hard Drive, because you had to use Windows 3.1 for you to play this old game which required Turbo to be turned off, and that is when you play the newer turbo games that don’t require turbo to be turned off, you use its original hard drive on Windows 95 instead? True or False
