I did little squares with extra yarn - ended up putting them together and making little bags that i use for my hair products, exercise bands, etc,,,, things come in really handy. Would've never have thought to make a blanket out of them

I quit making blankets from squares because i got tired of seeing them together. Sometimes i crocheted them together instead. It works and its stronger. Those are beautiful colors snd squares.

If you’re not able to find it, It’s just regular granny squares (made with 6 weight yarn) mattress stitched together and then single crocheted as a boarder.

How is this a free pattern? When you go to your site, they want to charge you 6.79 for the pattern.

It isn’t a crazy pattern anyway, it is literal basics of crocheting. If you want to make the same if you search a tutorial for the ‘solid granny square’ and follow along using chunky yarn and appropriate size hook. To connect, look up ‘mattress stitch’, or any other method if you prefer. Border is just single crochets, but might i suggest a scallop border!? Really easy to do and looks super pretty. You don’t need a pattern for this honestly, it is the most simple crochet you can do. Hope this helps.
