The State must encourage local manufacturing, power generation and distribution must be sufficient and stable, security of life and property must be won. These given will attract foreign investment. Exchange rate will then tackle itself. Exchange rate is equally subject to manipulation: China is a good example. Let's do the first thing first. Mr. President appears to be courageous. Our continued focus on the exchange rate is actually a symptom of our main issue: import dependence. We import everything, and our main export has been reduced significantly, if your balance of trade is negative your currency will depreciate.
