Hope you get on top of that hernia mate, what about doing a little horse head bottle opener. Or practice some leaf's. You've already got your tapers going, just a few suggestions, well done matey.Oh how can I share some of my horse head hooks and thing. Maybe here. Back later.
looks like a fertility symbol! Probably best not to have the missus model this one! How about a snake made from a bit of reo bar? Shouldn't prove to taxing , if it does, well, you can always forge a truss for yourself! :)
Good one Drew, nice anvil mate where did u get that one. Did a bit of forging today late in the day, it was up near 40 under back veranda, phew too hot. Working on some tongs for holding round stock, vertical so when you have to do some upsetting sort of stuff.?
That is so cool, I've had mine for over 30 yrs, had it when I was working on the Snowy, and in my time off I was shoeing horses, so this one was just light enough to carry around in my boot, 30kg I think, does the job. The firm that made them seems to have gone out of business.
+Lenblacksmith this one's around 80kg. If your ever out this way and want to check out the gameco burner hit me up on facebook and you can have a play around
There's your small stuff idea. You can make chisels, punches, then start doing some really detailed smaller stuff. You could make tongs too if you need.
