I actually purchased this model from Mod Bikes. It operates best on asphalt roads with less than 3% to 5% incline. Anything more than a 10% incline will strain you and the electric motor. The bike w/ battery weighs 88 lbs, side car is about 42 lbs. You really DO need to take care when making right turns, as you can pitch over to your left side. And similarly, the same is true if you’re making a left banked turn. You can pitch over to the left side and once all that weight starts going over it’s hard to start it. It’s happened to me more than once. I was glad I hadn’t had my dog leashed up-he was able to jump clear. All the more reason to same on flat even roads and not ride it one gravel or off-road paths. It is an expensive bike. But it is a solid bike. The cafe’ headlight is more for show-it’s not to light your way but does allow others to see you. The front brake cable design causes the cable to rub against the wheel. I had to use Velcro to secure it to the front fork. And the “Easy” sticker on the sidecar has come off. The new material they are using to create the sidecar is too slick. Stickers don’t stick. The sidecar seat uses suction cups to keep it in place but the plastic is too slick-the seat slides around. I wish it were more powerful and $1000 cheaper. I don’t regret purchasing it. Overall, it’s a great ‘flatland’ bike.

How can i get a side car i already have an ebike

Forget the ebike, I'd love the sidecart for my pedal bicycle.

Can you add two side cars like one in each side???

All throttle for 20 miles means you did zero pedaling?

It works great on flat ground, but I have San Fransisco type hills and the motor dose not work well, I have to do a lot of peddling just to go up a short hill; my dog got used to it after a couple of laps too, I could use that D ring as she wants to jump out to see other dogs, cats and squirrels. I take my Mod to events in my truck but find it is hard to reattach the side car by myself. my foot also hits the side car when peddling. I love the Mod with side car and get a lot of comments when riding!

Seems rather over priced at $4000 especially considering when some people build their own Sidecar bikes for under $1000.

A door to get in and out for dog would be better than picking up dog and putting it in.

Can you buy the bike/ sidecar without the electric motor? Be Cool with a Harbor Freight/ Predator motor!

not a very secure key re: cylinder lock.

Oh so the old sidecars are bad because of their fuels? Do you even know their fuel? They are driving with methanol which is even cleaner than the E-Bikes. Do some research first.
