This knife has been long in the making. I've always wanted a Bowie knife, and finally, the time has come. This knife has all the details of a bowie knife, yet it is not a real thing. The real thing is a story for another day.
Don't get me wrong-this will be a great knife. But in all honesty, it's more of a remake of Croccidial Dundee's Knife than a stand-alone bower knife. That little fact makes me so happy!
I gave 5 categories for RU-vid views to vote for. In the end, this knife was voted on. It is 15 inches in length, sharp on both sides of the drop tip, has a clean spine, a deep fuller, and finally, a stacked leather handle. Drawing it up, it kind of looks like a Dundee knife.
In this video, I discuss the foregoing part of this project. I spent nine hours in the forge burning just two bags of charcoal, which is around 30 lbs, and it was worth every second.
