Forging hook tools part 2 

After the hook tools for the pole lathe have been forged and ground to their rough shape, many steps still follow until the desired properties of the tools have been reached. This is a short overview of those steps.
Even those steps could be divided into even more steps. For example the sharpening step actually involves multiple tools, starting with a file, then going through several grids of diamond files (different shapes for the inside and outside of the curly tip of the hook tool) and ending with a polishing step. All in all quite some work, but mostly with pleasing results.
