For this build, I’m forging the Throwing Tomahawk from Call of Duty: Black Ops! This tomahawk is forged from one piece of 5170 spring steel.
The final thickness is 5/16” (~8mm)
overall length is 15” (38cm)
The handle is wrapped with 32 feet (9.75 meters) of 550 cord.
Heat treated using a canola oil quench.
I use the @BrodbeckIronworks 2x72 grinder
With benchmark abrasives belts.
