This was an excellent movie covering so many subjects that people are afraid to touch. And sometimes when then they do they are offense. They were so many nuggets in this movie and touched so very gracefully. Forgiveness and strongholds can always be broken. Always through LOVE.. Thank you Lord!!

it was quite a puzzle to find out who was the uncle, the son, the grandmother etc. during the whole movie but at the end you will be rewarded as it was a fantastic family drama movie.

I think I watched this before cause it was already liked by me before watching...I felt it was a lot to deal with and very sad and painful...but love is the key if all parties can be mature enough to do the right thing in the eyesight of God.

As a person diagnosed positive, it hit hard when she said he had AIDS as soon as he told her he was gay. I have dealt with stigmas and even from my own sister saying that exact statement about me. So to hear that in this movie isn’t something that’s unusual in a situation when someone’s not educated on the facts of HIV.

This was a great movie lots of secrets and even though it all happened in one place it still held my attention👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. So every Time they showed the outside it reminded me of where I stayed in high school and I looked it up and I was right it was in the lakes of Bellaire subdivision in alief area.

Woooow what a movie this was nice to watch

I saw this before. Thanks for bringing it back. Although I understand this movie way better. I missed the main part that the father was gay. It really depends on which generation you are on how you accept being gay. They make it such a shock because it's always a secret. People have to find out these days and in the past. Why that is proven it's a choice or maybe something mixed in the chemistry. Because it could be something spiritual too how men could try anything and if it feels good to them they usually stick with what they were curious to try and since it was enough of them accepting it they would just feel that way. On the other hand whatever they do they know the reaction they will get from others and they know the hate and confusion of being discovered and it effects the manhood the reputation and the works of the person they supposed to be to others. So they continue with their so called normal life until it's found out or revealed. Once somebody find out then they are embarrassed to know they had a part in that and why didn't they know or why did they have to be with that other person that didn't approve of even hearing the story? So they don't want to let go but they know they have to and take the creepy feelings with them while they leave the person that thought they loved them in shame because they won't accept that they are different. So the woman wind up feeling that he will never be attracted to her again if a man can make her feel like she should. Anyway it just went like that and the best thing to do is stop sneaking and making it a mistery scene and be true to them before you make like that person is who you wanted but really didn't because you wanted to hide who you were. That was the problems we had in the past. Now the kids accept it and once you find out you just let them go. I found out after a marriage and two children. And another woman on the side with a child from him and we both found out but before she died she said she didn't understand... I was shocked but I wasn't with him when I found out so it didn't hurt me as much but I was worried about the family both sides. People just ignored it like it wasn't a big change at all. Because it's not natural that's why it never appeared normal, but people say love is love or lust is whatever you lust after. That will be between you and GOD but that shouldn't make everybody hate you because you decide to do things that satisfied you.. People still have a normal heart and can be there for you for other reasons besides sexual love.. Who you have sex with shouldn't change how people should treat you unless you're a petophile or child raper. Then they should be judged by people. This movie had good points but people should learn to handle their emotions and be honest before you get yourself into something that you know if you're in a certain situation that you will caught or shamed or even give somebody a disease because you kept doing something with somebody you shouldn't have been with thinking the truth wouldn't come to surface. The worst thing is to trick others into thinking you're somebody you are not. Then they have to find out the hard way.

Oh my goodness this is alot to take in! I had to pause the movie and make me some coffee.... I might need to throw some tequila in it!!! But this is definitely a good movie.
