I would forgive if someone asked me for forgiveness. I forgive when people have wronged me but never apologized. We are all flawed, we all need to be compassionate towards each other. If God sees we are imperfect and forgives, we should too.

"To forgive and let go of the pain is a battle that others need to win too..." O Lord Jesus, HELP ME PLEASE! I'm going through with this right now. This is the latest battle that I need to win too aside from my other sins (addiction). I'm already a Christian since 2013, but due to some very bad circumstances that occured especially recently, I was really hurt by my mother, some of my relatives and now my in-laws... And I'm deeply hurt and betrayed, I can't find yet in my heart to forgive them, it became a resentment especially to my in-laws since it just happen this Christmas season 2019... The incident was kinda bit fresh for me... 😞 I can't bear to see them yet... Help me Lord to win this battles. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I feel like the sinner of this video. Tried many of times to repent. I still make mistakes though and the people of my past treat me like a parasite. For this I feel so lost. Can't get my head right and feet back on the ground and all I ever wanted was peace and equality.

Praise God for this video. I'm going through the same exact thing, except some of the terrible things I did, were a few years ago.

I have had to forgive people for what they have done to me. The sad part of this is that the people I had to forgive were from my own close family, husband, mom, sister, brother's and mother-in-law. I can truly say that I have forgiven them for the things they did, because I want to be forgiven for the things that I have done. I can't expect God to forgive me when I can't forgive others. It wasn't easy, but I was not about to continue to let it control my life. Jesus has set me free and I am going to stay that way. I encourage you to do the same, if you have not!!

I forgive everything! No problems. But to allow a person to keep doing things wrong to you is stupid! Love always forgives and allows that person to be who they are but many times at a distance not judging but also not getting hurt again. It's very simple!!

It is so difficult to let go and forgive things that were done to you in the past. And I also must remember that I have harmed people by my words and actions in the past as well. No one is perfect, including myself.

I always tend to do wrong deeds and I always make things worst. No matter how I tried to fix myself, no matter how kind and good I was to others some of them still thought that Im still the same. I am still that person who always make bad things. Thinking like I never have the right to complain about how they interpret or consider my actions whether is not beneficial to me.

I’ve hurt so many people in the past. I guess I should seek reconciliation with them, but it’s hard to face the people I’ve hurt. Maybe they don’t ever want to see me again. What would I even say, “I’m sorry, I’m a Christian now, I’ve changed my ways”? They thought I was a Christian when I had hurt them... May Jesus have mercy upon me and bless the people I’ve sinned against.

None are more hopelessly imprisoned than those who falsely believe they are free. Therefore, those who forgive are most hopelessly imprisoned.

interesting and thought-provoking video. I think words are cheap if they are not backed by actions. The repentant man may truly be repentant but his victims will not forgive him easily. Besides telling that he is a changed man, he must show he is a changed man. He could provide restitution for his wrong-doing. If he has stolen, he should pay back the victim. If he has slandered, he should apologize. He should become well-known in the community for helping others. He should pray for others, visit the sick, help the poor, feed the hungry, etc. Then people will know he has the Spirit of God and is the exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, etc.

Too say God hates the sin but loves the sinner never really sits right with me... it is not a biblical phrase and while we are sinners we are separate from God and under His wrath but He made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through His Son Jesus Christ who died for the sins of mankind. We are forgiven when we turn to Him and repent, Those who refuse His offer of salvation and continue to sin are still under Gods wrath. His love is shown through Jesus. We are saved by His Grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. 😊✝️🙌💕

It's too bad that this is not the way it usually works. Instead people like the wicked man continue in their wicked ways while the rest of society blames & further stomps on the people who the wicked man hurt. If you looked closely at this video, besides the message of forgiveness from Jesus Christ, there's also the message of ACCOUNTABILITY. Sincere confession of sins before the Almighty God, in the name of Jesus is one thing (He will forgive you), but you can not expect the same forgiveness from those you've sinned against. It doesn't work that way. And you can not DEMAND forgiveness by exploiting Matthew 6:15: "But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." KJV I've hurt lots of people during my short time on this earth, and I am absolutely horrified and ashamed of myself as a person. Words can't even begin to describe how I utterly despise myself for the things I've done, and said to others. I won't demand that they forgive me. It's an insult to them. As a result of my behavior, I've had people retaliate against me in ways that has made my life a living hell. Through it all, Jesus has been more than merciful to me. More than I deserve. My sincere wish is that one day I'd be man enough to tell those whom I've hurt, how deeply sorry I am, and that they did not deserve my horrible behavior. Being forgiven is a privilege. It's not a right...
