So I finally had an evening or two to spend and I thought trying to learn this as best as I can this quickly would be fun.
I'm sure there will be more accurate covers or tabs in some time (especially those fast chords, Ian pls), but maybe this can help you get started :D

jeeeez I already loved the cover of part I. When you suddenly started playing the saxophone bit of part II on guitar I was just amazingly confused lol. That was the best part. Very well done.

Glad you enjoyed it; I like including characteristic melodies that aren't on the guitar. I was amazingly confused when I heard the saxophone in the original the first time :D

And to be fair we trapse covers to see how close people can get to the "D'Sa" sound ha, and yours whilst a teeny bit heavier (for good reason) goes so well with the song and makes it awesome to listen to. What you using - or is that classified? ;) We use a Fender SuperSonic, or Bias FX! Keep going anyway, you got a sub ha

Thank you! For some reason I don't get notified about some comments. Yeah I think I reuploaded a day or so after original upload. I use Bias FX as well, also dual record almost every part. :)

@@BerndosMusic We have BIAS FX! It's just insane isn't it.. congratulations on getting that close, it sounded brilliant. Have you used 'Bias Amp' before? We're thinking of adding that to the roster... but yeah, amazing tone and brilliantly played

@@thelisted3004 I think I tried the test version of Amp but FX works for what I need.. I did think about upgrading to FX 2 at some point though. Even if just for more variety 😊

@@BerndosMusic I do like the idea of 'making your own amp' though, then you can really come up with your own sound - when else are you gonna hear what all those valves sound like in isolation? I wonder if Bias has Stone Deaf and Audio Kitchen amps? I recorded a single with these beasts in real life and omg they were incredible

Thank you, the sound is a custom amp-setup within Bias FX (basic version). I used the Bias FX tone as a plugin in Reaper and recorded through a Focusrite Scarlett i2 :)

Is it only me or does the second Part sounds like an A7x song? It fits totaly with syn's guitar as well^^

Yeah it definetely does, the arpeggios remind me a lot of Buried Alive, might even be the same ones. Thankfully Ian has not started sweeping, only thing keeping me from covering some A7X 😅

Hi! Is the video different take than the audio? Bc I just try to write tab for the solo from your fingers and there are some parts when sound doesnt correspond exactly the image... Got me pretty confused. But thanks for the great work on this song

Hey, I recorded two lead and two rhythm tracks, one for each speaker for richer sound. Now yes I notice that I recorded the fast lick at 2:48 different than I played it, one day wasn't enough practice for the one-take video apparently. ^^ The audio there should be right. For the fast chords, like I said in the description, I wasn't sure about. I heard chords that could be played on G B E strings around the 12th fret, but lower tones simultaneously. In the video I played chords that sounded close-enough, but I added a layer of higher-fret audio. I think the chords played similarly to the chords in the Red Flag verse, but it's a couple months ago. The lead melody solo section afterwards should be 1:1.
