I loved land of the lost. There was something so special about it. I really dislike when producers and writers try to rewrite beloved characters as if they never existed. I didn't even bother watching the new altered versions. Man those days of eating a bowl of fruit loops and watching Land of the lost were the best! Sat. Mornings were just wonderful as a child.

I remember Judy Strangis, I thought she looked familiar and then I remembered seeing her on one of my favorite early 80’s tv show, The A-Team playing a character named Judy in the Episode “ In Plane Sight” Wonderful actress. There was some awesome shows that aired in the 70’s fun times for those that remember that era. 😊

I don't remember watching Electra Woman and Dyna Girl but I do remember watching Room 222 in its original run even though I was very young. I remember looking forward to that show's opening theme. I'll have to look up both for Ms. Strangis in particular. I'd heard of the Bugaloos, and I'm not sure why I didn't watch it, but I DEFINITELY watched Land of the Lost. Ms. Ellis was very cute (all 3 of them are still great looking). I guess that means Ms. Coleman would have had my vote as a young kid. Thanks, Dave.

There was also Pamela Sue Martin and Janet Louise Johnson who both played Nancy Drew on The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries show. Janet Louise Johnson stepped in to replace Pamela Sue Martin when she had a dispute with the show for wanting to eventually have her own Nancy Drew TV series but the producers of the show would not agree to that so she left then Janet Louise Johnson replaced her but that didn't last long since the fans wanted Pamela Sue Martin back so in the 3rd season of the show it was only The Hardy Boys starring Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy. Then there was Maren Jensen and Laurette Spang from Battlestar Galactica. All 4 then young women were very beautiful at that time and still are today.

Part 1: One of my best friends got me into Spike Jones. I always liked Dyna Girl a little better but liked Electra Woman, too. I liked Room 222 for Karen Valentine as well as Judy. Part 2: Joy was my favorite of the Bugaloos. Phil Collins did audition and IQ told him “You’re lucky you didn’t pass the audition!” Caroline seems like a very sweet person! Part 3: I kind of missed out on Land Of The Lost but it was pretty well done. It probably inspired Jurassic Park. The first movie scared the heck out of me!

Judy in Room 222 ❤️❤️❤️. I was born in 1962, so I was very young in the early 1970’s. But I wanted to be in high school so bad with Judy as my girlfriend. I keep mentioning to you. You should do a video on the most unlucky 70s/80s actress of all time, Rhonda Bates the tall girl from Texas, who has been in more failed sitcom and sitcom pilots than any other woman in American television history. The only show close to a hit that she’s ever been on has been CPO Sharky, which I believe ran for three seasons.

the electra woman and dyna girl segements of the krofft's supershow were only 15 minutes,so they were probably pretty easy to film a bunch at a time. room 222 came on after the partridge family,not the brady bunch. that friday night line up was fantastic. brady bunch,partridge family, room 222, odd couple and love american style. it was rivaled only by CBS's saturday night line up of all in the family,the jeffersons, mary tyler moore, bob newhart,and carol burnett. dyna girl and joy bugaloo were every pre-pubescent boy's dreamgirls in the early 70s. i know both played a big part in me becoming a "leg man" .
@bradyguy7701
@bradyguy7701 7 дней назад
But they clearly DIDN'T film a bunch of EW eps at a time - they only made 16 for ONE season of the Krofft Supershow. 222 was also AFTER The Odd Couple in 1973 after they moved The Partridge Family to Saturday night - a big mistake that likely led to its demise. However, as much as ABC's Friday Night lineup was "beloved", it was in no way a rival to CBS' Saturday night lineup. (Nanny and the Professor, That Girl, and a couple of other also-ran sitcoms were in that Friday night mix too!) The Partridge Family had two seasons that were fairly well-ranked - Room 222 barely cracked the Top 30 in one season. ( was shocked to find out that The Odd Couple did NOT enjoy particularly good ratings....seems like everybody I knew watched it!) My Brady Brethren, of course, know that the Brady Bunch was really not very successful at all (even with reruns on ABC daytime in 1973) - until syndication in 1975. FEW of ABC's Friday night shows were THAT successful....in fact, nearly all of them were off the air by the time your Saturday night lineup is going in 1974.
