I'd mount a large deep cycle battery in a battery box near the compressor and keep it charged with a larger alternator putting power thru a battery combiner diode set. Combiners are common on motorhomes to charge house batteries without risking running down the engine battery.

Of course bolt on bag kits brakets are garbage and have wrong geometry 😆 as someone who been doing airbags since the 90s I'm appalled that they are still doing that

How's it goin', JD? No rush, buddy. It's totally understandable that a project vehicle like that won't be completed overnight. The ol' '63 is gonna be tough when it's all said and done though.👌 That kit is really nice. Looks like the little Joyriders are already diggin' the new setup.😉 Their reactions were priceless. It's definitely cool ratrod,lowrider,lowrod whatever you wanna call it its cool but man wayyy too slow need larger lines and values and 2 air compressors with half inch lines and values so you can get that thing poppin up off the ground and slamming . defently c note that rear and put scrap bars so that thing can shoot sparks

Awesome work. Kid's reaction in the cab were priceless! I have a '65 C10 passed down from my grandfather. My dad had put a '69 Impala 350 SB in it years ago and I just had it rebuilt.

JD, your so lucky to have a girl who will go along with your goof ball ideas. I do like the bags but personally would of done the engine first as it is the heart of the truck. You might of saved that inline six had you watched mrheavyshevy as he done a twin turbo on a 66 chevy with all kinds of carburetor adaptions and its a wild runner bud. Nice flowmasters and all. I agree that the 350 makes more sense but he did this for his daughters rig and he is a chevy man for sure.
