English Queen Alexandra and her sister Dagmar (mother of the last Czar of Russia) were NOT Eng;ish nor Russian, they were both DANISH. Dagmar is a Danish name and while spelled Dagmar in Danish, it is pronounced Dalma. Dal as in dilly-dally. ma as in muh.
I think The Princess of Wales may wear some of the older jewellery as she can wear all sorts of colours and jewellery that Queen Elizabeth II didn't wear perhaps because of associations.
