if it takes you into a screen that looks like its SUPPOSED to be recovery mode, but you have basically no options to choose from, your phone likely doesnt have developer options enabled in the settings, unfortunately you cant do much about that seeing as you cant get into the phone, so its basically a catch 22, you need to get into the phone to enable developer settings to reset the phone and remove the password, and you cant get into the phone without the password
What are you saying at the end? I got all the way through to the set up ph agreed to terms then the next screen came up and it asked for my pin to unlock? How would there be a pin# in the ph if we just factory reset it?
thank you. going to give this a try on my mum's S23 U after she forgot the pattern & got locked out. This a factory reset so anything saved on phone will be wiped, no? tyvm
Thanks...this saved me so much trouble. I should have known better than to set a password when exhausted and half asleep after work. I work to hard for my stuff to not be able to use it. I woke up the next morning to find I couldn't get into my phone due to an incorrect pin. 🤦🏻♀️ I am glad this instructional video was available. On the negative side, this would be a horrible but likely tool for cell phone thieves.
Now the phone on its pulled up a screen that said ,"an unauthorized attempt to factory reset this device. Please connect to wifi to verify your identity? Now what?
That's NOT factory reset smh if it was actually factory reset or reset to the factory settings it would not have a Gmail or any other accounts attached to it still
