A history of the nation of Thay, ruled by the power-hungry and enigmatic Red Wizards, in the Forgotten Realms setting of Dungeons and Dragons and Baldur's Gate 3.
@@Lorepaedia I'm glad to hear it. Wasn't trying to hate or anything, I've just always heard commenting/engagement helps with algorithm more than anything else so I figured I'd comment and like.
You can bet, of the greatest offensive spells in Thay..... .... Fireball is the least. As a player in the 1990s, I often chose a mage multi class of some sort. My DM was eager to allow spell research and creation. This kept our game very interesting. It created a wave of options for other players, even the clerics and priests. The more we reacted to each other's spell creation ideas, the more ideas exploded forth. Those were great campaigns.
Red wizards are some of the best world building out of DnD. Between the novels and sourcebooks I remember being a kid and feeling my blood run cold when a red wizard was mentioned. Back then when I was playing the old MSDos goldbox forgotten realms games, seeing a red wizard was a "oh F*CK" moment every time lmao
I agree. The only thing keeping them from completely dominating the realms is their greed, paranoia, and betrayal of one another. Evil consumes itself. It always has.
I will probably try to redo the whole video and improve it and fix the issues. I think I've improved the research/writing process for the videos since I made this one. Thanks for your feedback, maybe check out the more recent stuff if you're interested in this, but slightly more competent (I hope). :D
