FORGOTTEN WORLD HIGHWAY / STATE HIGHWAY 43: TAUMARUNUI TO STRATFORD 

We drove from Taumarunui to Stratford on the Forgotten World Highway also known as State Highway 43. We drove through the Moki Tunnel, checked out Joshua Morgan's grave and stopped at Whangamomona for some food and to wander around. We got a quick glimpse of Mount Taranaki. Too bad we couldn't see the whole of Egmont in her glory.
