A mercenary treasure hunter who breaks into an ancient city, and encounters something she did not expect. Created by: Alex St. Pierre Music by: Toft Willingham Made with Unreal Engine Website: www.projectforlorn.com/
This gave such strong Souls-like energy, especially with the character’s reactions. The scene that really stood out to me was the caution in entering the classic large open boss fight room. Love it!
That is a fantastic piece of work, the sequencing of the events was great and the battle was thrilling! Also, that guy in the throne was definitely what nightmares are made of... thanks guys
A nice animated movie or game can be made from this short video. It was a very nice and successful production. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.
I can't imagine how much effort you put on this piece. The camera work and story is very compelling. I absolutely love the villain design.Amazing result! Congratulations!
Thank you so much. I’ve begun my rescore and will share with you once finished. I’m loving spending such intimate time with your film, which continues to intrigue me.
Alex St. Pierre a Tip Of The Fedora to you, truly you are a Maestro. Forlorn is filled with enthralling scenes and edgy soul characters that exude from out of walls, floors, and entrance ways. Enchanting, thrilling, and breathtaking to the final scene...Bravo Project Forlorn Bravo. A real deal reel.
There's so much good attention to detail here, but I want to specifically call out the moment when she barely catches the stone with her fingertips and then readjusts her grip. A little moment that felt very real.
Horray! It's finally here! Such a beautifully animated, engaging story with so much care given to every detail. Amazing work Alex and team. This is so inspiring to me as an Unreal user. I can't wait to see what you do next!
Another creation with Unreal Engine. An amazing piece of tech so few know about. (And yet people still believe in UFO's. lol) Great short, hope to see more from these creators. All you have to do is imagine it today, and it can be created for others to enjoy. Thanks to Alex and Toft who created Forlorn. Great job. (There are even some Star Wars shorts made with Unreal Engine.) And I'm sure plenty of others I'm not even familiar with.
Loved the part where the girl has second thoughts about fighting "lady talons, keeper of the throne" (my silly name for her) and looks past her at the piece which makes spider eyes mommmy longlegs move in between her sight
This was absolutely amazing if it was a video game I would spend many hours of my life playing it. If this was a movie I'd buy it. I want more I totally need more that was absolutely amazing.
