A prominent local politician; his doting wife, a mother of two; and their young live-in nanny. It had the makings of a storybook beginning. But it's about to have a gruesome ending. More: bit.ly/2E65Yd7
but but but... shes flirting with me. omg therefore i totally believe that out of all the young, attractive men she could have it was me she was attracted to. i mean i get it, why wouldn't she prefer an ageing, balding, middle aged man with a paunch and baggage in the form of kids. i have 'experience'... thats what all young girls want right? i mean yeah i also have money too but its definitely the EXPERIENCE she finds attractive... yeah that must be it.
To those commenting on the wife's weight: she was married to a gigantic goober nerd and she was depressed and miserable. Everyone finds ways to cope- might be drinking or drugs, might be spending 24/7 at the office... In her case she stopped caring for herself. It happens. A good husband would see his wife isn't caring for herself and he would encourage and support her, not cheat on her with the 20 year old nanny. The fact that he literally murdered her tells you everything you need to know about his character.
Yeah I got a head injury 15 years ago in my 30s and put on TWO HUNDREDS POUNDS over 5 years of recovering. Recovering means mostly sitting around waiting for the brain to fix itself enough so that I could work again. It's VERY depressing, a head injury. The symptoms are brutal and I just ate and ate and ate. I got up to 430!!!! Now at 330 but for Five years now. There's no excuse for it. But i'm an emotional eater. The thing that sucks about being a binge eater and heavy is that you can't hide like a druggie or alcoholic or gambler or even murderer can!! Some may be obvious. Many not so much. You can't go AA with food because you need it. And I'm just weak willed :( I feel terrible for this woman.
@@markmike7933 sounds like you're making the good struggle. I'm right there with ya man. Im supposed to be at 140, and here I am at 230. Shit happens, but, people gotta love us on the inside, thats what makes us wanna be good on the outside. Much love to you and blessings!
My wife and I thought we needed a maid at one point. We watched Crime Watch Daily one time and then proceeded to get off the sofas and clean the house ourselves.
@@madebypenwinter What is absolutely mind boggling is why he thought he had the right to demand she leave her home, I think the two of them plotted her death and planned it out, therefore she should be in prison too!!
I'm a young, reasonably attractive (as told by others) woman in my mid twenties who has been a nanny for families before. When I was around Jamie's age, a middle aged father from one of the families I helped tried to make multiple sexual advances (which I NEVER took him up on) on me behind his wife's back. I hear this crap all the time, when the older married person tries to take advantage of a teen or young adults to cope with their issues. To you youngsters in that situation, it's SOOO not worth it and you can be responsible for a lot of unnecessary drama, and y'all older folks with a midlife crisis need to grow up and figure things out with your partner the right way. This stuff ain't right
People should not stay together if they are no longer attracted to each other or even get in a relationship just because it comfortable I know way to many guys that hate the person there with and the girl always just lets herself go then they wonder why there man is looking at a attractive women when all u had to do is take care of your self
Ikr?! I always think that about relationships that begin while one or both are still with their partner. Even if they eventually leave their partner, why would you ever trust them (and how, even?)??
@@CarMaBear Exactly. If he cheat on his wife, and you cheat with him. You are giving your stamp of approval on cheating. So he will think it's ok to cheat on you.
Leeanne sounds like an incredibly sweet person given she was willing to adopt a grown woman and let said woman refer to her as her mother. Its sad that she died how she did.
Okay..... But then what are We supposed to do when We want to eat our Girlfriend's Ass, But our Wife has The Family Car because She is out drinking again? I'm not taking The Fucking Bus to eat My Girlfriend's Butt, And I don't want to Eat My Wife's Bum no more. So I think I'm going to need to move My Girlfriend in, And The Wife will just have to deal with it. Or She can just Kick Rocks, You Know what I'm saying?
Child support toos pays ,as a bigs wigs in towns there's thinking s he could gets aways with murders is a no brainers ! With a news girls is mom's now's as mom's dreads now's appy afterwards you thinks
You could also say the same about innocent people that sound overly calm when reporting murders. Being in shock can make people act unusual. That doesn’t mean they’re guilty because they didn’t sound like you think they should.
Any man that would kick his wife out of his home, trying to forcefully remove her so his lover can move in and replace her, is an evil person. He was pissed off because she wouldn’t make it easy for him, so he killed her.
I grew up with au pairs, I’m a nanny, most of my friends are au pairs/nannies, about 50% are live in, I have never once heard of anything scandalous happening. Stop marrying perverted men and stop blaming young women just trying to do their job.
I’m sorry???? Did that guy just try to say that this callous, adulterous murderer was not evil???? It’s just SO HARD to juggle his wife and his girlfriend. 🙄
Life is a zero sum game If a woman divorces you she got take your kids and everything else I think we should bring trial by combat back to the legal system
First thing I thought of too..280 pounds(140 kg is some weight..yeah i think as bad as it sounds he did think and was grossed out by this, then comes along a nicer looking normal sized lady.
My ex left me for someone 25 years his junior. Needless to say it didn't last. She wanted to get out and do things and he just couldn't keep up with her because of his age. He's now 75 and a lonely old man. Can't say I have any sympathy for him. He caused myself and our children much heartache.
I always regret watching these bc I always end up side-eyeing my boyfriend. I don't think he'd cheat or kill me, but I bet that's exactly what Lee Ann thought too.
Why can't people just break up in a normal way? EDIT: Thank you guys lol, these are the most likes and replies I have ever had in my whole life on RU-vid.
Cuz some people are crazy. Now imagine how many people got killed in previous centuries like in the 1800s, 1700s and before waaaaaay before modern forensic technology
The young children lost both mom and dad. So heartbreaking. I hope as he’s rotting in pain he’s thinking of what he did to that women and their children
Is the guy at about 20:10 for real? He doesn't think Tim is evil... he thinks Tim was was just going through a hard time dealing with how to "juggle" his wife and girlfriend and didn't know what else to do. Um... What?!
The bar is LOW for men. They cheat and you hear excuses like- how was he supposed to say no to a younger looking woman? As if they can’t simply say NO 🙄
I went to a very small (120 kids total) religious high school with the woman who was murdered, whose name was Lee-Ann Chaffin back then. She was a grade above me but we went on a school trip to Europe together and I got to know her pretty well. She was very shy, sweet, and trusting. Kind and generous, too. When I ran out of money before the trip was over, she lent me some of hers to pay back when we got back to the US (and I did). I never came into contact with her after high school, and I was very sad to hear that she had been murdered. Heartbroken for her kids and family. I hope her evil scumbag husband rots. Rest In Peace, Lee-Ann. Thanks for being my friend. ❤️
Isn’t that the case when 90% of mothers get custody of their kids in a divorce? Isn’t she likely to be biased and have more influence in what the kids believe?
Alex Blaze - If she has a black ♡. Decent people shield their kids, and give the truth (if kids haven't already been privy), once of mature enough age! I did, so Please, don't lump women into the same category! "Some" seems fair to say!
She wanted to smack the woman who took her homeless ass in speaks volumes. There isn't a "not really" answer to that question. It is a yes or no answer.
kat exactly ,"not really" is another way of lying. Like if they don't want to totally lie they say a non direct answer like "not really", "maybe"... Knew about this from some how FBIs indicate people lying.
I've known plenty of women who think that being a wife and a mother is so important that it would be shameful to be a spinster. It's disgusting and internalized misogyny. My mother was the same way.
@Brandon O wrong, my mother telling me to marry the first man who showed interest in me regardless of his personality or his treatment of me and having multiple children because that's what she did does not apply to me. I wanted to travel and not have any children. Being subservient like my mother and being a doormat is not something that should be followed or admired. Would you kindly cite your source for saying that "women are less happy than they've ever been? " I doubt that you've surveyed every woman in the world in order to make such a generalization. The women I do know are quite content of having the power over their own lives and can study, travel, work or be a housewife and mother. The point being is that they're more than their ability to reproduce. They're married to wonderful men and are extremely happy with where they're at.
Brandon O - You’re delusional. The reality is that women now have the freedom to live alone *or* with a family. Before, they only had the choice to live with a family, no matter how much they *didn’t want one.* I’d rather live alone with a good job than feel forced into a marriage with the first disgusting old fart who would have me and destroy my health popping out 12 children I don’t want from lack of birth control. That was my great grandmother’s reality, and she can keep it!
When the 911 operator ask if his wife is breathing, he says no with less feeling than when people say no when asked if they want a bag at the grocery store.
The image of a bride and a groom nowadays means almost nothing. People get married for the wrong reasons and cause so much heartache because of it. It is sickening.
@@EmpressofChrist I completely disagree. That's an insult to the value of kindness. Instead of killing compassion, we should reinforce it's value and look out for others.
Unfortunately our English is a liar's language. For example, X asks, "Who stole the cookies?", Y replies, "I guess it's me!". Why should Y guess? The answer should have been "it's me!" I've not noticed many other lying languages, that's why English will be the most common language, all humans are liars!!!
It seems like such a slap in the face of her family to leave her kids with his parents. Every time I see cases like these, coming from small towns, it almost always smell corruption. His farther is the only doc in town, and now everyone licks his but. Wtf?
This is absolutely sad. She was a beautiful woman and loving mother and very devoted to her husband. He had it all! Shame on him and shame on the nanny she should have known better too
She may have been beautiful on the inside but she weighed 280lbs; she sure wasn't beautiful on the outside. Don't lie to yourself that our attractiveness doesn't matter and then complain when your husband leaves you for another woman
Do you know what? Who watching this automatically considers what the children are going through. The focus is on the adults, although yes, the children would despise their father.
Although they're being raised by his parents so they might get a biased version of events. Also, if he's such a narcissist, it could have been from the way he was parented and those kids are in for a messed up upbringing.
Yeah hes trash. What he was probably thinking is she would have come out of the divorce with half his money. Killing her means he gets to keep all of his money, he gets the payout from her life insurance when she dies, and murder is faster and no divorce lawyer fees. Source: Watching a lot of true crime.
I hate that the children are living with his parents. They're probably taking them to see him in prison. And maybe even disparaging their mother in front of them.
It's too bad she had kids with this guy in the first place, and they were forced to deal with a father who killed their mother and the emotional/psychological fallout from that.
because people are idiots. and because many people do get away with murder. so many, that youtube is actually full of cold cases. and they make crime shows only about the interesting cold cases.
Many are caught but many are not. Probably for every person that gets caught there's one that doesn't. Bet there's hundreds of thousands cold cases out there.
From the 7th grade on, I babysat for other families in the evening, and that work ended when one dad tried coming on to me when driving me home. I was shocked! He had four young kids & he’d leave playboys all around the tv room. Yup.
You think he deserves better? What’s your point? He’s a monster, death too good for him!!!! Wake-up, there will always be consequences for evil people!!!!!!
@@Mainecoon_Izzy when did she say anything like that she just found that savage and commented that. And yes he is a horrible human being for cheating on and killing his wife and should suffer for his wrong doing.
One person had sex with a married man, felt guilty and confessed to the mans wife. The other person had an affair with a barely legal woman, who was having trouble with housing. Gaslit his wife about the affair, until his girlfriend confessed. Considered divorcing his wife, and mother to his two children, but decided to murder her and disguise it as an accidental drowning. Then after successfully killing her, let her body sit in the tub for over an hour before calling the police. If you think these people are the same, you have issues a youtube comment cannot come close to shedding light on.
Raya Petrova Yes. Even with her belongings, and her diary, and her texts, and phone calls, and other people witnessing evidence of an affair, and extensive interrogation without a lawyer present and full cooperation from her, there was no evidence (even circumstantial), to tie her to the murder. The video had to go so far as to say that her journal entry ‘when she moves out’, and ‘when she leaves’ could be reinterpreted to mean she knew the wife was going to be killed, but not even the police came to that conclusion. Furthermore, this man just killed his wife, it’s clear he was not particularly loyal in any sense, and he didn’t even try to make a deal to lessen his sentence.
Tina Phillip..yes, she is cold and creepy. She wanted to take over Lee Ann's life and didn't care if Lee Ann died. She is disgusting and definitely knew what was going to happen. She said she "wanted to smack" Lee Ann on occasion. She's heartless and a murderer.
@@victoriaecho4679 "death surrounds the mother," she was a psycho bitch who started an affair with someone she called "dad" and stressed him out so much with all her deadlines and moving on by THIS DATE (or else what?) ... Betrayed the trust of someone she like a snake called "mom" who she secretly wanted to "smack" even while she was having sex with "dad". Jamie is a total piece of work. Wonder whose husband she's after now since her first plan didn't work out.
I agree. I can never understand why any officials would place the children in the same home that produced a killer in the first place. This seems to happen quite often and it never sits well with me. It's possible that her parents were unable to raise them-- but I think that her parents/family should be the ones to have the opportunity FIRST!
@Leonard Chornomaz I agree, but I doubt a home that raised a cold blooded cheater and killer is where they would actually receive "the best care" except on paper. And also, imagine the children's fear!
Justice was not done here. They're going to let this monster go free while he's still a young middle-aged man, and his children have to be raised by the parents of the monster who murdered their mommy. This is disgusting. Sometimes I hate this country.
I wouldn't listen to ^this^ person, as a mom and divorcee, I definitely don't regret having a daughter, she's the coolest person I know, but I won't lie, my husband did immediately bail when I got pregnant, just did less and less, distanced himself, and tried to start a new family with 2 other women. It's kind of a miracle this didn't happen, because he was definitely fantasizing about taking our kid and erasing me from the picture, treating me with contempt and blaming me for all of his problems. It's a shitty situation. I say don't rush into marriage OR children if you get serious with somebody, wait until you see them in all situations before you commit to marriage. You don't really know somebody until one or both of you are under stress, get sick, gain weight, go through some shit, etc.. You have to give time for their true colors to show. That being said, I wouldn't write off a family altogether. Not everybody is so weak that they'd give up on their spouse when something new comes along, just saying..
Cosmic Brownie oh please, Beyoncé wasn’t fat when Jay Z cheated, Cardi B wasn’t fat and ugly when Offset left her, it has nothing to do with weight or how you look after pregnancy🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
‘Affluential’ I love it! I will definitely be using this word in future… (Yes, I know it is supposed to be ‘affluent’ and ‘influential’… but ‘affluential’ absolutely says it all!)
After completing a diploma in child development and welfare, at the age of 18, I became a live in nanny in London. It's common for people to employ young girls as nannies (they are cheap labour, despite qualifying with diplomas). There are boundaries though - any professional nanny knows that there is an employer/employee relationship. If anybody is looking to hire a nanny, or be a nanny I'd recommend having a contract to be signed. I get the impression parents don't take this kind of thing seriously enough! I'm now in my 50s and not been a nanny for decades, but I can see, through experience, it's still important to have a fair rate of pay and living conditions for your nanny and vice versa for your employers. Working conditions should be laid out at the interview and both parties should say what their expectations are!
@@an-cx1ho I never heard anything about her being lazy. Gluttonous perhaps an alcoholic but even that I don't think you can become an alcoholic from drinking Boone's Farm wine. That's essentially Kool-Aid . She didn't deserve to be murdered. Her husband was a selfish cheating Dirtbag. But he's selfish enough to be A cheat.
@@an-cx1ho yea dw he's hella ugly af anyway he doesn't deserve anything better. Besides how do u know she was just sitting and eating junk food. She might have been doing all the house work and might have had a job as well. And if he hated her so much he could have just divorced her.
"None that I can recall" If that isn't a lie, I don't know what is. Who is stupid enough to get involved with a guy who would muder his wife to be with you? You may be his 2nd victim.
Oh the poor man "At his wits end having to juggle his wife and mistress"!!! No excuse for killing her! Imagine how she felt watching this young girl take her place, no wonder she took to alcohol! If he had called 911 straight away they might have revived her. Convenient that he "lost focus".
I don't know how the detectives could look past that. I think a jury would find that diary entry very compelling. What..would her lawyer claim she is psychic? I mean come on...that's some pretty good circumstantial evidence. It makes me wonder what crime she's going to commit next (or probably already has) especially if she meets someone like-minded.
@@ItsameAlex Don't fat shame. Having kids causes many women to gain weight. And many people are capable of loving someone deeply beyond the superficial world you embrace. If you want to be loved for your looks, I have bad news for you - we all get a bit grosser every year after 40.
ItsameAlex Having kids is not easy for everyone. Some people have a hard time recovering, especially back to back. If he had given her some time, she might have been able to eventually. That “nanny” might have gotten fat when she had kids, you never know.
