There are a lot of formalities in Persian/Farsi, so this week and next we will be looking at some of the most important ones. This week we are starting with the basic foundation- the difference between the formal and informal "you" in Persian and formal He/She and when and how to use all of them. I know that many languages have this distinction, but English doesn't so I just wanted to make sure we were clear on everything. The formal you is also sometimes conjugated as the informal you, so we'll touch on that as well. Next week, we will get into more specific words that are necessary when it comes to formal situations.
