🌷🌿🌻Your neighbors are so lucky. They get to enjoy looking at all of this beauty every day. Although your projects are on a grand scale, every gardener is inspired and encouraged to make their own spaces beautiful. I can't wait to get outside and garden! 🌻🌿🌷

Laura that's a great design...you got some curves in there it looks so good but I can imagine the softness and color contrast of some lavender...so exciting...I have been redoing my gardens after having a stroke over 10 years ago and I dont have a lot of income but I have managed to redo quite a bit by buying 5 very small pots a month it is starting to look gorgeous with a few different salvia aduba, butterfly bush lots and lots of plants you have spoken about my next job I'd to start collecting bulbs to add drifts and buy a few evergreens for my winter interest but thankyou for teaching me to grow one patch at a time years ago I would have to have the whole lot done together now I pick a pocket of my garden and plant and change until I like it so I'm calling it pocket gardening so thankyou from the bottom of my heart for teaching me how to pocket garden it was overwhelming but a little bit everyday has given me my happy beautiful place.

HI Laura, My son and I love watching your videos! For the last 10 years I've been gradually been making-over the gardens at our 100 year old house. It was completely wild and neglected when we moved in complete with tree stumps and poison ivy. Your show is an inspiration!

Laura, Stunning!! I agree with nixing the piece at the end. In my minds eye I imagine a niche made out of a hedge. Something mysterious with maybe a bench in it. A place to sit and view the length of the garden from that side and a way to create a destination from the vegetable garden. Just an idea.

Gosh, you guys work fast! Ha ha! Even in real time, to complete planting more than 100 shrubs in two days is awesome. There must not be a sprinter boxwood to be found in the entire region. It's good you'll be planting the rose bushes soon before those maple trees get too established and compete for root space. I can't wait to see the part two.

I love what you came up with. I agree with not putting down cement towards the end of the path. I think it would bring too much weight to the area. The pathway and boxwoods bring enough structure and weight without being... too heavy.... I'm excited to see how this area progresses further. It's going to look fantastic.

I agree with your desire for the formal structure with cottage freedom. Research the many books on Williamsburg gardens, buy used at Amazon. That's where I got my ideas, by visiting Wmsburg VA, twice. You'll love it. Those ball and chain gate closers Wmsburg has everywhere are for sale, just google... Love your energy!
