I'm COMPLETELY new to this. An absolute newbie. I'm retired from the NHS after 30+ years but always wanted to be a train driver. My Great uncle drove the Brighton to Seaford route in the 80s (slam door trains) and I'm now able to do it myself. The Eastbourne route is dear to me and the Hampden Park and Polegate stations are BANG ON. Really cool stuff this.
Such a shame that they don’t show a graphic to go with each asset so that people like me who don’t know much about train names can see which one is which…. And while I’m here, they could add station/platform markers to the map too!
@@TheBritishAce sorry poor use of terms on my part. I meant platform/station labels on the map. The copper coloured map kind of has station labels but the full map doesn’t. Really surprised that the core game hasn’t included it… a simple quality of life improvement as I would see it.
Would be nice if you got to see the coach or wagon as you scroll through. As in train sim classic there is that large black box on the right for them to appear in. For those of us who aren't that familiar with all the wagon and coach stock in the game was trying to find some container wagons but couldn't find them .
The reason why the 37 was wheelslipping is because for some reason you can’t run those Mk1s with a lot of different trains so if you use a 37 or Scotsman with them the brakes on the coaches won’t release which is really annoying. Maybe a bug
So you can't actually change fixed formations. ie take the HST and just use the mk3s or add extra coaches to emu sets. Thats a bit of a disappointment.
