Is there any way for churches to come alongside women who are parenting or are in a crisis pregnancy? Can we invest time as well as money in these people? Why can't we offer to help raise these children if she needs to finish high school, college or go to work during the days? Please change our hearts Lord
I remember when I was at school we were told by the teachers in biology it was ok to have an abortion. The fetus would not be aware to feel anything. I often heard people say just get rid of it like garbage.
My wife and I have beautiful 3 year old twin girls. To hear an account of children like ours being destroyed is utterly heartbreaking. It's just too sad to imagine. I feel for all the women being lied to by being told "its not a baby, its just a clump of cells", only to discover later on in life what was really done.
I wish all abortionists would come to be saved like this doctor. I have a young OB- GYN doctor in my family who is a resident now who is actively doing abortions while pregnant herself! I have spoken to her with as much love as I could muster but to no avail. I pray constantly for her conversion. We come from a Catholic family but instead of supporting me on this many support her and demonize me. She is on social media making videos wanting support for her pregnancy calling her unborn baby he (the baby is about 3 months along on a sonogram. She knows the sex.) but she doesn’t think other unborn children are persons. Please pray for Melanie. Please pray she stops! Please pray for me also to have courage.
@RedneckSpaceMan In Russia and Japan abortion is just another form of contraception. I read in a magazine in Russia by the age of 30 some women have had about eight abortions. It is very difficult to get the pill or condoms there.
There I stood in the ultra-sound room's bathroom, looking down into the toilet and seeing my baby's tiny, one-inch long, body. It wasn't MY body. It was my child's body. I saw his/her head, his eyes, his wee nose and wee ears, his wee hands. Even at ONE INCH, I could see that he was his own person. It was a grievous day when I miscarried him and it was weeks before I could stop crying. It was months before my head was back to normal. His father grieved him, his siblings grieved him. We still feel the empty spot- still remember February would have been HIS month. I didn't kill my baby, it wasn't my choice. But the death was very real. I can NOT imagine how post-abortive women feel when they did the choosing and have to come to terms with it. :) It's NOT their body. and it's NOT a right. :( My miscarriage gave me a chance to confirm my beliefs on that.

It wasn't meant to garner symathy, :) , it was meant to express that unborn people are loved, missed, and grieved, just like the loved-ones we have beside us. And to show that the very early unborn are most definitely not merely blobby tissue. I have been blessed with nine children. This miscarriage took place 12 years ago, when my 9th baby was one year old. It may sound strange, but I consider the loss a blessing, in that it gave me some experience that helped me understand women who have never been able to bring their babies to term. The loss helped close the gap, but it also allowed me to be a face-to-face witness that a one-inch long baby (9 weeks gestation) does indeed look human, is human, and is worthy of being respected as such. So great to see another woman OB-Gyn with Lila. I was quite upset this week to see an article in the Charlotte Observer picked up by Bing News. It was about “distressing situations” where women were faced with “horrific fetal abnormalities” who “had to make the decision to choose abortion.” One of these, fetal hydrops” was what my son and I faced (maternal hydrops) *without pre-natal diagnoses in 1987.* Pregnancy ultrasound was unheard of and the upscale physician wasn’t disturbed by my hyperemesis, lack of weight gain, worsening hypertension, etc. My ankles swelled and I finally the day I was dead sure I was facing pre-eclampsia I went into labor. He was airlifted 12 hrs later to a teaching hospital down the road. He’s fine for someone who will need a liver transplant. But I’m convinced after a lifetime spent in the pro-life movement that if ultrasound had been offered there would’ve been pressure to abort. The post-natal diagnosis didn’t even come from the big teaching hospital (they were baffled!). It came from a [baby food brand name] life insurance company my mom had contacted to get a policy for my son’s college fund. We lived mere blocks from a world famous research center too, where eventually he had further diagnostic tests. Moral of story? Women think that they’re “saving my child from a lifetime of suffering,” but in reality they’re being railroaded perhaps by an MD who doesn’t want to risk a difficult delivery or the doctor is arrogant or has some kind of agenda. Any number of reasons, except ONE- -that MD isn’t thinking of Mom or Dad or baby or the four grandparents and the aunts uncles cousins etc. Yet one day the mom may weep in front of other weeping parents who also killed their own children; who were seduced into believing that death was somehow better than a life. Is my son’s suffering that bad? No! His childhood was extremely average. He’s pretty happy. His cousins have a different serious hereditary disorder that puts ours in perspective. It’s likely that a cousin will donate a portion of their liver eventually and because he’s lived his whole lifetime with the disease which set off the hydrops in utero his view of “healthcare” is radically unusual for a millennial, as is mine as a baby boomer. Life’s always worth reaching for. I think there are a lot of us out there who either blindly stumbled thru our kids’ “scary” medical issues too busy to consider that other parents may have ended their child’s life if it had been offered, or who were told their child’s genetic abnormalities were “incompatible with life.” We just kept going because life happens. But what really defines the situation we lived and still cope with is the idea that another mom told me early in the medical journey. “Nobody says on their deathbed that they regret having their son or daughter.”

Ohhh! I love the concept of 'the baby can bring you UP out of your current circumstances' ! The baby is a blessing that changes you for the better. Being a mother helps you mature and have higher thoughts. Even if you birthed the child and gave her up for adoption, your view of yourself can improve, because you are essentially a hero to that child- instead of slaughtering her, you gave her Life and parents who were ready to love on a child. Abortion may free your hands and your time, but it oppresses your spirit and gives no reason to seek a better situation. Babies are HEALING!
@@RyanGBanister Think of all the young men who haven't been blessed with a chance to have the 'responsibility of a young person' which helps us ALL to 'grow up', because their girlfriends aborted the child they conceived together. When we have a little guy that looks up to us and depends on us, we tend to get our priorities straight sooner than later. The thing is, you can't really preach it that way to the young adults, because they are at the stage where they think they are ALREADY grown up and responsible, doing 'adult' things. lol, the ones who think they know so much more than their parents did. Notice that it takes them being a parent for a few years before they come to their senses and say....Ohhhh Mom and Dad DID know what they were talking about! haha. What we women need to do, is express joy in our motherhood, show our sons and daughters how much we love them and appreciate them and enjoy them. Talk to them about how excited we were to be pregnant and what hopes and dreams we had about parenting. And how mothering can make the world a better place. How being a Mother and creating HOME for our husbands and children, IS a high calling and one to be so, so happy to do. Show them how all the skills we've gained over the years and all our talents, can be used to make Home a very special place to be. A place where people can say, "Ahhhh, the day is done, I can't WAIT to get Home and relax and be loved." And JUST as crucial, is a woman showing respect and love and honor to her husband, in front of these children. We want little girls to fall in love with their daddies and hope they find a man just as great. And we want little boys to be proud of protecting their mama and sisters and looking out for them, and providing little things that make them smile. THAT's the beginning of manhood. We want our little guys to look for a woman who reminds them of their own mom.

My friend told me she had an abortion and did not regret it at all! She aborted 28 years ago. She’s a wonderful woman but broken. She needs our prayers to heal. God bless these woman before it’s too late.

It is MY body & I do have a right to do with MY BODY as I please. However, the moment you allow another life to take root in your uterus, it is no longer just YOUR BODY. There’s another body now developing & women need to realize that this life...there’s a reason for everything. Whether you are capable of taking care of that child or not, you could make a sterile couples dream come true, so why not do it? Nine months of your life, loaning your body to another, for their life-long happiness, and you won’t have to live with the guilt. Trust me...there’s guilt. To this day, I consider myself the mother of three, even though I only have two living children. Why? Because that was a life. And I wish, MORE THAN ANYTHING, I would have questioned by doctor who told me that getting pregnant on DeproProvera would assure they child was not right. I wish I would have questioned his motives for pushing an abortion. I wish I would have sought a second opinion. I wish, I wish, wish...and today, I have to live with that. I have to LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT I ENDED ANOTHER LIFE. My child’s life. Trust me, the guilt never goes away. The memory never leaves you. And when you do have another child (intentionally, or the one you decide to keep) and you SEE how wonderful motherhood is and realize you could have done it, or made another’s dream, but because you didn’t have the courage at the moment, you took the “easy” way out...you will live with that for the rest of your life. And you will regret it. I do. Every damn day. EVERY. DAMN. DAY. And this happened almost 30 years ago...and still, I haven’t let go of the pain, of the what if’s, of the was it a girl or boy, what would he or she looked like, etc. IT NEVER GOES AWAY. THERE’S NO EASY ANSWER, BUT THERE IS AN ANSWER THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO LIVE WITH YOURSELF AND NEVER REGRET - don’t abort. I was pro-choice...until I went through it myself. Never again. NEVER.

Just like the nun who prayed for her for 10 yrs., let's continue to pray for the doctors, the nurses, the staff and the mothers in these abortion clinics that they will have a conversion and choose pro life for all babies 🙏

The story she related of the woman who only went through with it because she wouldn't get a refund reminds me of what happened (and undoubtedly still happens) in the UK. Our CQC shut down abortion clinics because they could not show that the women had consented to the procedure. In our case it was probably to hide rape or sex trafficking, but clearly that was a woman who hadn't consented to it.

I lived in Sioux Falls 07 to 09 and went to this PP. To get birth control, they asked me if I needed an abortion. I said no I'm a virgin I want to prevent pregnancy they told me to make a appointment at "actual doctor clinic".
The girls didn't kill their baby, the Dr's did who have no right Whatsoever. Dr's shouldn't be trusted. Why would Dr's offer this? They should be the ones, being a Dr. & Telling people what an Abortion is. Forms? One? Glad this Dr saw the light.

Oh boy. I suppose what I'm about to say is going to sound rude to some people, but I truly don't mean it to be. Here goes. If women are so smart, capable, independent, intelligent, and if 'abortion is a HARD choice, not taken lightly', then WHY on earth have none of the pro-choicers worked maddeningly, fervently on making abortion 'safe and rare and why don't they follow their own abortion laws'. Why isn't the safety of women vamped up as a #1 priority in the Women's Rights issue? Why is it an insult when we pro-lifers call health clinics out on their failure to hold abortion clinics accountable? Think: If we wouldn't share a dirty nose tissue, why would we want to share used vaginal instruments? Isn't that disgusting? Yet when we demand sterile environments, we are labeled as misogynists. Why is Kermit Gosnell treated with more respect than President Donald Trump? (Donald Trump eats McDonald's and is scorned. Gosnell eats lunch with hands dirtied with abortion blood.) If we women are such geniuses, why are we having so much trouble mentoring young girls to respect their own bodies and abstain from unmarried sex? Why haven't female physicians worked tirelessly to find a way to keep young fetuses alive outside the womb for those women who don't wish to remain pregnant? Why aren't we protecting our girls from radical sex-education classes that only push them toward sexual activity. Why aren't we 'smart' women, supervising our teens more? Supervised teens generally don't have sex when their parents are near. If we're so smart, why are our careers more important than being present with our children? When Hillary Clinton, in an interview, said something to the effect that abortion is not very pleasant, but 'it's covered under the law', why aren't we asking her, "Hillary, how are you going to help America stop abortion? How are you going to make it, NOT the LAW?" When 'abortion' is removed as a choice, the woman can focus on better choices: mothering or adopting out. Removing the one option that tears women to pieces emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually, makes for a healthier woman. We can then focus our money on aiding the woman with THAT decision. Women would be much more careful in the future in making decisions about her sexual activity. Women with dangerous health situations would not be ignored. The doctor would aim to help BOTH the mother AND the baby. If the baby does not survive, it simply would be an unfortunate death, but at least the goal is to save BOTH, not destroy. And as I've mentioned elsewhere, women deal with many things 'emotionally', the stress of an unplanned pregnancy is NOT the time to 'trust the woman' to make this decision with her doctor. The abortionist is making big bucks- he's not a good choice for an adviser. And the woman, is vulnerable. NOT a good combination! Also, if women are capable people, why do they then panic so badly that they can't rise above it and do the right thing? Why is slaughtering a child such a better idea than merely carrying to term and adopting the baby out? I don't call that 'normal' thinking. So, as women, let's get to work REALLY solving the cause of these unplanned pregnancies of epidemic proportions. Let's get busy giving women REAL answers and REAL life skills. We are SMARTER than abortion.
It seems to many, "Science" means the removal of God. And considering God is an objective moral authority (Whether interpreted literally or in principal), "Science" is the removal of a moral authority. This leaves morality to be subjective to individual interpretation. I don't see how anyone with any depth of understanding (or reasoning at all) could argue that a world where morality is subjective is a good thing. When good and evil, right and wrong are left to the individual to decide for themselves, there stands NO ONE to tell another otherwise. How can you tell me in good conscience that what I think or believe is wrong? Who are you? A better question is, "Who do you THINK you are?". You are asserting yourself as GOD over someone else, are you not? At the least, you are claiming that your sense of morals and values is superior to that of who you are addressing. Are you going to celebrate a subjective morality while trying to also be an objective moral authority over other people? You are a hypocrite. If I killed someone or stole something, who are YOU to tell me that what I did was wrong? You see, this cannot be answered without proving you a hypocrite. You mock the religious when you yourself are also religious and hold to a god. Only, the god YOU worship is the State. You might try to tell me "The law says this or that." and you'll say "There are laws for a reason, idiot!" Excuse me? What "laws"? And why should they apply to me? What are you suggesting? Are you suggesting that these laws are in place to keep order? Are you telling me that these laws are "good"? What is "good"? And who decided this FOR ME? When were you going to tell me that you decided how I should see the world? Why do you tell me I'm a criminal for breaking the law? Who wrote these laws? And which one of you has the objective moral right to put me under such laws? Atheism is fundamentally hypocritical. You cannot be an atheist and NOT be a hypocrite. The two go hand in hand. You are telling me that my God has no right to tell you how to live or think when you are telling me that YOUR god has the right and moral authority to tell ME how to live and think. Let me put things into perspective for you: If I break the law of the land, I'm a criminal. If I do that which is wrong according to the law of the land, I'm evil according to that law. When I break said law, I will be arrested, fined, and thrown into jail for a sentence of punishment. A punishment YOU will be glad I have received for breaking the law. (If I stole something from you, would you not rejoice to see me thrown into a cell for committing a crime against you?) You ought to see where I'm going with this considering how greatly atheists boast of being intelligent. If you have better insight and understanding than I do, then you MUST see the point I'm making here. (I need not TRY to make a point, the point is very clear.) I was a premature baby and I have asked my mother why didnt she get an abortion so she could finish college. She told me I was her little miracle and I emotionally felt nothing out of it, I stopped celebrating/ acknowledging my own birthday unless needed for legal reasons.

Fortunately, I never had to be in an unwanted pregnancy outside of a marriage, but once I was a victim of rape, and the shame of thinking I might be pregnant caused me to have quite a few "heartless" thoughts! Thankfully, I wasn't pregnant... But none of us are without some form of sin!!!! Killing a child is something that most of them don't even realize they're doing, because they've been told it's just a clump of cells!
In 1 John 5:1 “Whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him.” The Father loved the child born to Him while in the womb. When was Jesus alive? From the very beginning. God is so full of grace and forgiveness. He is faithful even when we are unfaithful; bc that’s His nature. When you repent and trust Jesus; He will forgive you your sins.
