As far as AC/DC goes, he was always over shadowed by Phil Rudd. But, I really liked his work, with them.

I was in School wit Chris when Tom Jones first hit the big time. I remember him asking me if he should go with Tom Jones to London or go in the air force. I told him we didn't know how long Tom would last and that he would probably be replaced by session musicians. He didn't take my advice Tom Hadley from Ponty Grammar

Loved this....big acdc fan...I'll never forget 1990 razors edge..Great album of my youth ..decent guy Chris ..he played with some serious players because clearly the guy knows his stuff..I love his work with dc...n the firm ..take care all

My opinion of course but I always preferred Chris playing with AC/DC

Huge fan of Chris , I have had the opportunity to see him going back to the Firm. He played well in ACDC , made the right move for sure with the right hand high hat , but he was and is NOT a swing drummer, he was ok in ACDC but not great. .

This guys feel was all wrong.... no pocket no groove no swing just straight ahead stiff time and it was a great thing when Phil came back, the band sounded better than ever on the 3 huge tours they did after Phil came back... the 2016 tour was a complete mess and this guy couldn't keep good time at all
