Yes, she is still in an MLM. She is an actual doctor who is currently giving "credit" to Amare Global. A newer MLM that's been around for 5 years. That's probably where your next deep dive should be on.

My mouth dropped open when she said what all she was accused of and the sexist BS about 9 minutes in. Holy Moses, they're even worse than I thought.

I had s friend who was in this mlm for years. She was so deep into it that everything in her house was oil based. She defused them in every room and even put them everything she cooked. She even made rash cream for her baby. When she invited me into all the facebook groups, these people made all kinds of medical claims. Thank God I didn't stick around long. It was scarry.

My heart hurts for her. I genuinely hope she is safe and ok. ETA: I legit had to hold back tears when she openly stated that realization of leaving a cult.

Lindsey Elmore, PharmD, is someone I really highly regarded and had no idea she was going through all this abuse for all these years and yet stayed with them! I am so sad for her that she gave her all to that company and they screwed her over. I hope she brings them down.

I discovered uhhhhh at the beginning of quarantine and it did and continues to bring me so much joy 💕

I worked for a small business that makes all natural soaps, lotions, creams, balms, etc... Using mostly essential oils and some fragrance oils. My aunt started the business & it took off after a few yrs and she needed help. I mostly worked at the shop (she bough a building to manufacture & cure soaps, because we had 64 different scents, etc & soap takes a long time to cure & you need a lot of room, lol.... But we did a lot of trade shows, farmers markets, large artisan fairs,almost every weekend. We stayed swat from "craft shows" because of these mlms, why they let these people in to CRAFT shows is beyond me... Anyway, almost EVERY SINGLE show a Young Living rep or 3 would ALWAYSSSSSS approach and pretend to be a potential customer, smelling soaps, looking at ingredients 🙄 etc... We had a great reputation, my aunt built her brand for years and is super sweet (she started her business bc of breast cancer when she couldn't find natural soaps or deodorant at the time without chemical preservatives, so she started making her own and it took off).... It would make me so mad bc they'd waste our time by asking these questions, only to finally ask "SOOO, where do you get your essential oils?" lol, I finally had to ask my aunt what she wants me to say.... I'm WAYYY less nice than she lol! We'd end up going with "we have great wholesale companies that use clean ingredients at a great price, especially for bulk orders".... Every show. And they'd then put the products down and walk away. 🙄 Like ya, thanks for wasting my time... We always had a lot of people at our booth and they'd take away from another serious customer. But what do they know about customers, they basically sell to each other & themselves so... Not surprising. They'd always push their oils as therapeutic or medical grade, which is utter bs. It doesn't exist because essential oils aren't regulated 🙄 There is Food Grade for adding to food, which you don't need unless that's what you're doing. But they'd charge so much more for the same thing you can get at Bramble Berry, & Nature's Garden (two of my favs, but Nature's garden is more affordable where bramble is more bougey). Wellington Fragrance is another fav. The Sage is pretty good, Aztec is another that's OK. My experience with my own fragrance oils I use in my handmades (I make room sprays, scent stones, & dip clay in wax) is more with Nature's Garden & Bramble Berry, I love them both, but for essential oils Wellington is fantastic. I'd neverrrrr use YL.

When you mentioned how MLM's will treat you terrible despite the fact that you've made them a lot of money, reminds me of what I've heard about the PORN business and how they treat the women.

She spoke at an event I was at for YL many years back and I remember seeing her outside the banquet room as I was returning from the restroom and went to introduce myself and she was a cold woman, completely different than who I had just seen portrayed onstage. I’m glad she’s speaking out. I didn’t know she left.

I hate Young Living with a passion! This confirms it even MORE!!!!!

My sister is trying to sell this overly expensive stuff to my family! Please give advice it’s almost causing a full family problem! My mom said she would pay 100$ for my purchase and I said that’s to nice but you don’t need to do that and she then had my sister “seller” call me and told me it’s my birthday present because I didn’t order this on time. This is a horrible company.

I need to thank you. I have had an account as a “distributor “ with Young Living for several years. I don’t have a down line and never sold it to others. I have not seen the push toward Christianity at all, much more of a New Age attitude. Lots of “grounding, purifying” etc. Today, I closed my account. I’ve been feeling uneasy for quite awhile but this video made it clear that I needed to be fully out.

I have mixed feelings on this. I'm glad she's coming out now, but in the past she's been part of the problem. She says she was working to make things better behind the scenes, but publicly she was using her education and credentials to give YL credibility. I remember when my ex fell head-over-heels in love with YL and I wouldn't go along with it, Ms. Elmore was one of the writers my ex made me read exactly because of her background and experience. Now she's shilling for Amare. Will we see her making one of these exposure videos about Amare 5-7 years down the line?

This really makes me glad I stopped using their products. I never consumed any of their products except a couple of samples my ex friend and roommate had and let me try. Idk why I thought the products were better. I guess I thought that because I was paying more the products were better but this just proves it wasn’t🤷🏼‍♀️ thankfully I never sold any of the products to friends and family members so I never dragged anyone into it with me. I hope this wakes a bunch of people up.

Just an FYI for whoever reading, please don't buy essential oils from Walmart as mentioned. :) There are many places to buy oils but places like Walmart and Amazon are places to avoid :)

Om my. I'm always interested how y'all get your hands on these videos. I definitely want to look up some of her work. When I googled her name it appears she attempted to start her own wellness business or some podcasts of some sort but maybe this stuff with Young living is hampering those efforts. When I heard that she has a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham I really got interested. I believe she was an undergraduate while I was a graduate ta. I'm pretty sure I graded her biochemistry papers.

I just discovered your channel; Love the content, but if you’re OK accepting constructive criticism, it really bothers me when you cut her off before she finishes her sentence. And it’s harder to listen to and process what she’s saying when you only let her talk for 30 seconds before cutting her off… regardless of those two points, The commentary and content are top notch on this channel! She was talking thru tears at first and then slowly got her confidence as she kept exposing this company. I’m proud of her. That’s so hard to do. But she seems genuine and like she wants to be part of a company that does good. Good for her for coming out with this.

I had joined Doterra in 2011 with the intention of trying to build a business. I was going through a divorce at the time and had to move in with my mother and younger brother. I could not even open some of those bottles in the house because my mother and brother was so severely allergic to them that it would trigger hives and asthma attacks so bad that I had to take my mom to the hospital once. I kept telling my upline that I couldn't use or wear the oils because of their allergies. My upline told me REPEATEDLY that I was lying as no one could be allergic to the oils because they were natural and that my mom and brother were faking the allergies because they didn't want my business to succeed. I ended up quitting after 2 months when I fell pregnant and also couldn't handle the oils due to severe morning sickness, which again my upline told me that I must be wrong because just the aroma of some oils would "completely cure" my morning sickness and I was not trying hard enough. I know so many people that are allergic to the oils, even just the smell. I live in Salt Lake City and I put both Doterra and Young Living conventions in my calendar so that I can warn friends to stay off of public transportation and give free rides to them because the oily huns permeate every inch of downtown. A bee sting is all natural Poison is all natural Arsenic and Cyanide are all natural Pollen is all natural Just because most people are fine DOES NOT mean that it's 100 percent safe, effective, or non-allergenic.
