@@mangabuddy this video? Of course. It looked like he needed to go badly, but felt bad about disrupting the event. Xi, Li and the staffers likely reassured him that it’s OK. My theory is much more likely than all the conspiracy theories here.
He left the auditorium for physical reasons. After a while, he returned to participate in the voting ceremony. Look, he said hello to Xi and Li when he left
My friend you clearly don't understand Chinese politics so are the majority of the comments. First of all Hu is suffering from severe disease, most say Packingson, so in this solenm scenario he suddenly lost his control and the assistents have to approach him and carry him away to keep the congress in order. ( otherwise the other deputies may move their attention on him and this will affect the camera view). Hu doesn't want to go because he want to endure and try to control his disease, if he moves, this important meeting will be disturbed as he was sitting beside Xi. But for his consideration (health problem) Xi and other bosses want him carried away for a rest until he felt confortable and be able to continue, that is why Hu was resisting the assistents because he didn't want to make a fuss about it. Secondly He was not removed away, an evidence is that his chair and name ticket were still there, it means that he will return shortly, if he was to be removed then his chair and name ticket would be removed. Thirdly Xi and Hu were friendly towards each other, Xi won't be able to make it to the top without the support of Hu. Xi has to put up a poker face because he knew that there were thousands of cameras facing him, he can't move his attention away and make people wonder what the fuss was happening. Finally Hu is highly respected in the party, otherwise he wouldn't be invited in the first place, especially with his health problem. You can see clearly the man on his left Li Zhanshu stood up twice when Hu was leaving, that is the Chinese courtsy and respect when an older man enters and leaves as a younger man you cannot stay put on your chiar, you must stand up to show your attention and respect. Li Zhanshu is the General Secretary of the People's Congress of China, that equals to the Speaker of the House in USA, that's the third man in China, with such rank Li has to pay respect to Hu, if Hu is not respected in the party why would he do that?
Hu made a speech that one-man rule in the party and country is very bad experience and party should follow the collective rule principle. Xi just stopped him with no ceremonies. This is the beginning of the CPC dynasty. Xi will bring China to disaster as Mao did.
@Joe Obama Yeah, the comment section is also filled with SLA*ES who were shipped by the Europeans to the Americas and Today according to US federal Commerce,The US imports more than 42% of it's Pharmaceuticals From India alone as India is the world's largest Manufacturer of Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines
@Joe Obama Hunger Index is a Misleading name, It is a Nutritious Index measuring about Nutrition value of Citizens and India's Crime rate is less than that of the US
Nope, if he against Xi, its golden moment to shout show against it to reporters (include international reporters) infact he still poke and farewell to Xi & Li Keqiang
The absolute look of fear in that man's face and even the people around him, the man contemplating getting up only to be pulled back down and wipe the sweat of his head. This is true terror and an example was made of this man in front of all the others
The man wiped the sweat is acutally Xi's confidant, China's Top 3 person, Speaker of the people's national congress. And he is 72, so definately gonna to retire no matter how the political situation is. He didn't meant to get such a high position, he'd already prepared to retire and use his spare time to play with his grandchildren 1 decade ago. He accepted this position only because that his confidant Xi Jinping needs him. He cannot be scared by Xi, I think it's more of, say though being a confidant of Xi, he's more literate and would love to show more respect to the old former paramount leader Hu Jintao. But he found himself powerless and can do nothing to change the situation.
Hu Jintao was probably quite scared of what was happening - Anything could happen behind the cameras and he knows it. Quite unfortunate, this man was largely responsible for the rapid economic growth in China despite some mishaps.
@@florence3502 No, but they should definitely at least pretend they are able to think... I mean, we all know communists can't actually do that, so just pretending is fine.
@@poopermoodieisgay2131 do you really buy that lmao? If he was not well he would have not attended in the first place, and it's not like he collapsed and need people to drag him out, he got legs and could walk out if he was sick, also Xi literally stopped him from getting his red book.
@@poopermoodieisgay2131 They could have take Hu out discreetly out of respect. Why broadcast it to the whole world to see. Such disrespect to a former leader of China.
Some were speculating that he was forcefully removed because he's unwell and ill. He isn't nobody, he is an old guard and an influential figure of the communist party of China. Forcefully removing him in front of many people to humiliate and embarrass him would be the last thing you will think of, unless a powerful person tells you to.
DRAG?! Are thinking these people are stupid and only you are super smart? Hu was helped to leave, maybe these youth workers should be more gentle and patient.
Hu greatly improved China economicly but let's not get the facts wrong here, he did his fair share of human right abuse and brutal cracking down of Tibetan. I would be celebrating him getting kicked out if Xi wasn't infinitely worse and this is cementing his power.
"The congress effectively removed four of the seven members of senior leadership - including Premier Li, the country’s second-highest official, the Associated Press reported. " from an article 10/22/22.
My first idea was, how can they show such a weekness in taking him out while the meeting, how embarrassing. But now I think, it should have been a demonstration, a message to others. And the body language of former president showed finally, he knew he's beaten man, a person of the past.
He's sending a message to the congress that he is in charge now for life, likely directed toward the world to see since this happened right when foreign news reporters got in.
Is that really the easiest interpretation you could think of when you watch that video - or the most Hollywood-like? This is fake news and you're being deceived by power of suggestion.
At first glance it does like Hu is being forcefully removed. On the other hand, Hu appears to be at least a little bit demented (not surprising at his age either). Either way, it looks strange.
@@hanjarake_taro if Mr. Hu leaved because of health problems, he would leave before journalists entering the hall without this video recorded and being forcefully leaved.
@@好得意-p8s I saw the fear in his face as if he knew what would happen next. The guy next to him looked like he wiped a tear. It sounds like there were Chinese people who.liked him. I don't know for sure but can only imagine and question what happened to him as it seemed he knew it was the end to never be seen again.
That would destroy the fake media's narrative. This is power of suggestion reporting on display. Notice also how they edit at the 32 sec mark? The time from sitting to standing. Did he show clear signs of physically not being able to get up on his own? So they edit so it doesn't contradict with the narrative the present to their gullible audiences.
Anyone with bare minimum IQ required to see things clearly can see that he was dragged out. That's the thing with authoritarian regimes. Constant coups, eliminating "enemies" to your throne etc., is the norm.
Or you just do it like Liz Truss was removed, or manipulate an election, or purposefully, with lies ruin someone's reputation with the help of MSN. Oh, you could also do what they doing with Julian Assange.
The guy quite literally tried to first yank him up by the arm, then to actually try picking him up out of the chair? All the while he looks legitimately confused about what's going on. Pretty disrespectful regardless of the reason, really. Though. Can't see much reason beyond not wanting to share the stage, so to speak.
Excuse them for being two non-nurses under pressure in that public forum for not being taught sensitivity and methods of handling a senile person who needs to be moved out of there? When you're actually confronted with a new task that needs to be done, you dont always get it right or focus on the right things. You're the first person in this thread who do actually point at the disrespect of it and acknowledge that he does look confused (aka there might be a reason for being removed other than a political one). So kudos to you for being able to think for yourself!
@@fz7694 if I question whether there was a legitimate reason it's b/c they were simply setting up for a speech. So him continuing to sit there through it... not sure what difference it would've made. As far as him simply feeling ill, that's sort of undercut by the fact he seems resistant and confused when the kid starts tugging his arm. He's not going along with it as someone would if they'd made the decision to leave themselves-- or had even been aware of it. Plus, the whole congress is pretty staged/choreographed. So why wait until after the cameras are on unless that was the intention?
Witnessing Chinese history, this scene will go down in history forever. Emperor Xi was forcibly re-elected and brought the Chinese to North Korea step by step.
Not one person turned around to acknowledge him they just looked straight ahead , you don’t react to someone that way if they are leaving for a medical reason , He will just disappear ,
Talk about terrifying and commanding the whole crowd. Not one of them offered a moment of support nor even acknowledgement that this was happening. Not a single one of them looked at him.
For those with dementia (or even early stages of it) everything that happens in the next moment is foreign and unfamiliar. If Hu is jndeed suffering dementia, he could be teetering on the brink of incoherence throughout the duration of the Congress, not ideal for smooth proceedings.
@@kindface He said something to Xi before he left, if he was demented and incoherent then he wouldn't attend the congress in the first place nor spoke to Xi.
@@coconut7490 Things are very much orchestrated, not the least at these party congresses. As a party elder, Hu would have been accorded his place in the proceedings. It’s possible that part way through the several days of proceedings, Hu has increasingly shown erratic or incoherent behaviour. Just being circumspect on my part because I don’t see the ‘forcible removal’ that others somehow claim to see.
Wow, this is huge... I watched this like 20 times.... cannot quite make out what Hu said at the beginning. it seems he said "... 人民宪法的.. ( #$%&& constitutional...) " any other Chinese here? Was that what he said? If he said "这是违反宪法的 ( this is unconstitutional)" then this is epic! And also very sad
I don't know lip reading but that's likely what he said, Xi getting a 3rd term is very unconstitutional and completely destroys the balance of power in the party between the different factions. Too bad his faction the youth league is dead in the water after Xi purges and can't do anything, probably why he's getting escorted out, his power base is destroyed.
Was he Kicked out of the party cause of his age, I know Hu is Rich. They wont jail him or nothing. They just wanted to humiliate him infront of Camera, but I wanna know, Why? You know CCP is strict in terms of censorship so why did they let this clip slip.
Xi Jinping smiles, cries and expresses anger with same expression. Amazing plastic man. No heart. No compassion. It seems he controlled removal of this man.
Hu Jintao's actions to take the document are very unusual. The document may be a list of committee members. Based on the previous news in China, the document in Hu Jintao's hand is obviously different from other people's. He wants to keep the document as "evidence", but Xi Jinping did not Give him a chance. The whole thing is a coup at a conference.
We don't know the whole story right now and we may never know, not sure on that regard, but the way the former president of China Popular Republic, Hu Jintao, leaves the premises of the congress is, to say the least, very strange.
Notice the guy who initially snatched the folder from Hu later wanted to get up and help but the guy to his left held him back, very interesting body language and dynamics.
