I attended Catholic grammar school for 7 years. God was always referred to as vengeful and I always felt that I was doomed. As an adult I realized this wasn't the case. For that last 20 yrs. I redefined Jesus as God in human form who came to earth to show us how to live a life that pleases God and cherishes our fellow man. Yes, Jesus knew he would have to sacrifice his own mortal life to complete His mission. As horrible and unjust as the crucifixion was I feel that Christian churches (I include Catholic in this) tend to focus mainly on the crucifixion, the actual physical sacrifice. I like to focus on Jesus's message. So many churches makes us feel like you better believe in this, just as we say or you are not "saved". I have always had a problem with that. None of us will really know what awaits us on the other side of the veil until we actually experience it. Until then I have absolute trust that Jesus loves me beyond measure. He loves us all equally. If we live our best lives possible trying to follow his example then we know that nothing but good awaits us. Both here and beyond this mortal life.

Vicky, I had the same Catholic experience. I lived in terror of God and Jesus for years, my whole childhood. God was always shown to me as watching my every move and most of it was sinful. It took a long time to deprogram. Still working on it.

I'm so glad to hear that!! Life IS a struggle for all of us, but I believe the struggle is what helps us to grow stronger (even though it totally sucks as we're going through it lol) I've certainly learned so much from hard times in my life which has led me to better things! If I hadn't experienced them for myself I would never had learned things just because someone tells me how it'll turn out! I think nearly everyone hasta "learn the hard way" instead of actually listening to someone that's been through it themselves, cuz we always tell ourselves we know better lol!! Stay strong and know your road led you to where you are today. Just think what you'll learn tomorrow 🙂

Satan is so evil. He takes pleasure in seeing us suffer. He wants to destroy the whole creation. Although I believe in some kind of universal salvation I don’t believe he can be redeemed. Maybe the lake of fire has the purpose to punish Satan so he can be resurrected but it’s also possible that this punishment lasts forever. Satan is behind all crimes, wars, suicides, drug addictions etc. etc. all he wants is to destroy and to see us suffer. He is the absolute worst enemy of god.
@tomrhodes1629

You can find some comfort in discovering exactly what satan is: the selfish human ego, and how satan is overcome: forgiveness. Evil is nothing more than ignorance. And the evil (ignorance) of satan (the ego) is overcome through FORGIVENESS, which is why Jesus died on the cross. (See my other post on this video.) "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." And the forgiveness that you give others you give to yourself, as I explain in my books. "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." I don't receive RU-vid comment notifications, but seekers will easily find me.

What a wonderful understanding of the whole process where Jesus was bringing the new covenant which is simply to love God and love your neighbour including your enemy which is such a radical understanding. When we understand we are all ONE and the separation is the illusion then it is so simple as to harm another is to harm ourselves. We are ALL ONE so off course we have to love one another. This is the transformation Jesus has bought to all of us. Keep it going.

Exactly. You hit the nail right on the head. Humans, along with a clergy interested in status and control, tweaked the reality of it into a typical "crime and punishment" paradigm. It's not that you believe IN Jesus, it's that you BELIEVE Jesus. He has no desire to be worshipped. He does have desire you understand and internalize what he brought, what he said, and what he demonstrated. He came here to point you back to reality so you wouldn't be so completely married to this construct.

I love his views on Jesus and agree with them. They make so much more sense. My deconstruction and reconstruction ended up away from Christianity and the Bible completely. I was drawn to Goddess and earth-based practices and devotion. I honestly felt Jesus say to me that I must work with other energies in my life now. I'd learned so much from him, but now I need to learn from other practices and spiritual guides. I'm deeply grateful to Jesus for teaching me unconditional love towards others. It's laid the best foundation for my spiritual life.

." Matthew 22:37 Jesus declared, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’e 38This is the first and greatest commandment" Many christians do put Jesus in the place of the Most High in error. Others call him God himself. Jesus didn't seek glory for himself. And many Christians do not know that they will be condemned for not keeping the law and for not doing works even though they perform miracles in his name. Matthew 7:21. "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ Most Christians also follow the changed Sabbath from the council of Laodicea 363-364 without knowing it violates the 4th commandment. They are following the sun worshippers day to honor the sun. They say that they keep the day Christ rose from the dead but The Most High said not to add or subtract to what He said to do. Deuteronomy 12:32 "See that you do everything I command you; do not add to it or subtract from it."

Sorry. God does care. Take Howard Storm for example; it was very clear to him that the angels and Jesus were very concerned with how he hurt others. If you do evil things, and aren’t sorry. It’s a problem and God is not close to evil people unless they are SINCERELY sorry and make an effort to change their life to avoid further sin of that evil nature.

(Hey, y'all, watch me get kicked off Melissa's channel!) I like a lot of what Keith has to say, but I don't think he's connected all the dots yet. Were the Jews really in awe that Jesus could say, "Thy sins are forgiven"? Highly unlikely. To say that simple sentence is easy, anyone can do it. You wouldn't be compelled to believe the guy's sins were actually forgiven - how could you even tell? But you would absolutely know that the guy previously known to be bedridden was up and leaping. By what power could such a thing be done? That was and is awesome! Consider this dot: what about the woman taken in adultery? What did Jesus tell her? "Neither do I condemn thee." Right on. Then, "Go thy way and enjoy whatever it is you're doing, because you can just forgive yourself." Nope. More like, "Go thy way and sin no more." Interesting that Jesus would care, given that anyone could, according to Keith, forgive her sins at any time with a wave of the hand. Why should he even care? Why should anything even be classified as sin if it can be erased by anyone with a wave of the hand? What would be the point? If that's what Keith believes, shouldn't Keith's advice be, "Get out there and sin as much as you like, because you can forgive your own sins any time you feel like it!"? (Yes, a little hyperbole there, but seriously, he isn't connecting all the dots.) Let me offer an alternate explanation perhaps, based on the notions that: a) Jesus never encouraged anyone to commit sin, and in fact counseled them to obey commandments and repent of their sins (e.g. "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand"); and b) God is not magic. Okay, here goes. You know those ripples that go out into the universe when we do something good? You know the law of karma that observes those ripples coming back, multiplied, to bless us? Right, everyone knows about those. What about the negative ripples we send out? Doesn't the law of karma imply that those, too, will come back to us, multiplied many times? Those negative ripples are out there in the universe, we sent them there. God can't just wave his hand and make them disappear -- that would be magic. (Disclaimer: I'm an engineer, and I believe in the Law of Conservation of Energy). So let me assert that the role of Christ suffering on the cross (and in the Garden of Gethsemane) was to absorb all those negative ripples. That's what made him suffer in the Garden (which suffering many ignore because they don't understand it), and added to his suffering on the cross. Keith is absolutely correct that his suffering wasn't to protect us from a "volcano God" who wants to punish us (there's no such thing). It was to shield us from the otherwise inevitable consequences of our bad acts as implied by the law of karma, to absorb those negative ripples. How much does Jesus want to forgive us and protect us from the oh-so-natural consequences of our bad acts? Very much, apparently. People who have hellish near-death experiences report that when they appeal to Jesus they are instantly rescued. He wants to forgive us so much that it might be easy to conclude that we don't have to even ask for forgiveness. But I suspect that would be an error, given that the people in hell have to actually invoke his name - or in some other way appeal to God - in order to be rescued. Could people who lived before Jesus be forgiven? Of course, God doesn't exist in time. Jesus was slain "from the foundation of the world". They could be forgiven as easily then as those who live today. They just had to appeal to Jesus, same for us. Of course we also have to be sincere. But he loves us so much that he will come to our rescue.

Has anyone ever wondered about other civilizations throughout the universe and how earthly salvation applies to them? Did Jesus die for the sins of Humans on Earth only? Do other civilizations have to abide by the same teachings that we do? Does the Bible and its teachings apply to all human like intelligent beings in our universe? If there is only one true religion that gets you into Heaven then does that mean that every intelligent life being throughout our Universe has that Religion on their planet? Or are humans the only ones who go to Heaven? There seem to be so many holes withing the belief that the only way to get to heaven is through ONE true religion. I too have had a Christian upbringing, not only in the church but in schooling as well. As far back as I can remember I always thought to myself, why would a loving God create someone that He had to have known was going to make the "wrong" choice and spend eternity in constant pain, thirst and agony? The common response of our free will never seemed to answer that question in my mind.

Even John's baptism of repentance was for forgiveness of sins. But there is a difference between forgiveness of sins and Atonement. Blood sacrifice was for Atonement. Atonement covered past and future sins for 1 year in old covenant (yom kippur). Jesus sacrifice was for past and future sins through baptism and confession of sins (however, there is an expectation for us to try and live a repentent life/life with an attitude of obedience and genuine love for one another and God).

As I observed yesterday : good man of God . There is one very fundamental principle that all our well intentioned talk about the Father , Son , and Holy Spirit violates ... well two , at least . One is that God is way beyond our comprehension , so why do we persist in trying to explain divine methods ... ? Second , the mystery of God may lend itself to the kind of poetry that all scriptures , including the Koran , and certainly including the Bible is dripping with . The problem is not theology even , but the wounded psychology of fundamentalist proponents and fanatics ... people who need to incriminate the other . Sin is not irrelevant, though , dear brother because whereas God has his arms outstretched toward us from eternity to eternity , sin prompts us yo run from him ... into fundamentalism, and even terrorism , but at least some form of atheism ... Do you agree , Mel ?

( The Husband and The Wife Are > Protecting Friends < One Of Another ) Quran 9:71 ''And the believers, men and women, are > Protecting Friends < one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey God and His messenger. As for these, God will have mercy on them. Lo! God is Mighty, Wise.'' Quran16:97 “To whoever, male or female, does good deeds and has faith, We shall give a good life and reward them according to the best of their actions. Quran 30:21 “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you > affection and mercy { Love } The Prophet Muhammad said, “The best among you is the best to his wife” ( Human Are One Big family ) Quran 49:13 " O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)." ( All The Racist People Will Enter Hellfire ) Quran 30:22 "And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge." My conclusion: The > BASIC < message of God to the human is that '' YOU '' believe in God and be kind to other human beings / > animals < and in the > RETURNED < God will > REWARD < you with a new life in Paradise. * The Quran ONLY guides you how to become a good human being " Nothing Else ". * You are a good human being or a bad human being that is YOUR choice. * No one can force you to become a good human being. * You MUST work HARD to become a good human being. * Why should '' YOU '' do good deeds and avoid bad deeds? * Do Good - it's for You. Do Bad - It's against you. * '' YOUR '' life is a TEST from God that you will choose to do either Good or Bad. * Find the excuse to help others and forgive others NOT the other way around. * '' YOUR '' final destination is either Hell or Heaven. * So work HARD toward choice of YOUR destination. Quran 17:7 If you do good, you will do so for your own good. And if you do evil, it will be to your own loss

Warning: Small book below.. The way I think of it is that Jesus's death was not only literal, but also symbolic. He took on all of "sin" nature (ie. the ego), which is selfish, rebellious, prideful, self-serving, indignant and driven by fear. So, when Jesus was crucified upon the cross, that was just the physical representation of what was occurring on a deeper level; whereas, He was experiencing the death of the ego nature (ie. pride, selfishness, fear, rebelliousness, etc). Internally He took on the form of ego nature itself and was suffering the torments of its death, eg. Self-centeredness experienced the torment of perfect self-sacrifice; fear, experienced the torment of perfect accountability; Pride experienced perfect humility (through pure humiliation), eg. crown of thornes/king of the Jews, the "so called" Son of God being tortured, and nailed to a cross in front of everyone. This was the egos worst nightmare. Jesus took all of ego nature upon Himself, and despite being completely afflicted with all temptations, all pride, fear, etc, He responded to it entirely with perfect humility, perfect Self-sacrifice, perfect accountability, perfect dignity and perfect unconditional love for all (including those who took part in His betrayal, torture and death). Thus, He then had to experience the torments that came along with this, which was the humiliation, terror, etc. And, althoughthe physical torture and crucifixion literally happened, that was merely the symbolic physical representation of what was happening inside. His perfect moral choice caused Him to experience the torment, torture and death of all of those ego characteristics that He had overcome with perfect morality. That's why the physical representation was Him nailed upon a cross, because there was nowhere else for ego to go. It was now locked into place and voluntarily sacrificing itself (through Christ), with nowhere to escape, and it was going to experience a slow, tormented, suffering until it died. I believe that this sacrifice is what bridges us back to God, with our unique imperfect nature. Because, wherever we each uniquely fall short of perfect morality, Jesus picks up the tab for each of us precisely at that point, (of which He already overcame with a perfect dignified morality). God's kingdom is "Heaven" bcuz its just like God's nature (perfect dignity and unconditional love). If souls with imperfect moral nature were permitted entrance into Heaven, then it would quickly spread sin nature like a plague, and God's Kingdom would become like man's kingdom (earth). Thus, Heaven requires only perfect moral nature of all inhabitants. And, through Christ this is possible. Tho, I believe all are saved through this sacrifice; not only the self professed Christians, but everyone, regardless of evil deeds). This sacrifice is what enables imperfect people to maintain their unique identity, while still gaining access to God's perfect Kingdom. And, this is how our imperfect selves become perfect loving beings upon death, bcuz death is the point where Christ's "grace" comes into effect, and we essentially are awarded with the heart and mind of Christ, whilst retaining our uniqueness. So, when people experience NDE's they don't necessarily see Jesus, but nonetheless, it is through Christ that we all have eternal life in God's perfect Kingdom. Tho, I believe we reincarnate, essentially infinite times throughout eternity. We continually experience the unlimited potential experiences, in the unlimited potential scenarios, different body's, different souls to interact with, different roles, etc. But, after death we always return home. Tho, perhaps we sometimes predetermine ourselves to experience some of our afterlives in Hell realms. Forgetting we are all eternally Heaven Bound. And, instead, believing that we're in Hell for eternity without escape, (& maybe we can't escape until we learn to accept our doomed fate and surrender all of our pride/ego nature). But then, and only then, we once again return home to reunite with God and the trillions upon trillions of our eternal loving soul family members that we have shared endless extremely deep, intimate (good and bad) experiences with on earth, which endlessly bond us ever closer. This is our reality thanks to Christ's perfect sacrifice and saving grace. Without Christ, the most we could achieved on our own is likened to that of enlightenment of Buddhism. Whereas, we trancend our unique "self" nature to escape the entire wheel of karma and rebirth (including the deva/"god" realms where we incarcerate as deities). As the Buddha came to realize, those births are also stuck upon the wheel of rebirth. Thus, he determined that the ego self must be entirely transcended (discarded). Whereas the greatest goal of existence is to escape this wheel, and snuff out the one of a kind, irreplaceable uniqueness of our souls precious identity. And. I believe he was absolutely correct. That is the supreme option to experience the most amount of joy, with the least amount of suffering. It requires letting go of all those you love, and letting go of your uniqueness. This is Enlightenment. And, I firmly believe that it's the best possible solution, and path, if we didn't have Christ's saviorship. But, since we do, we don't have to transcend our uniqueness. We don't have to let go of anyone we love. We don't even have to become perfect in order to experience God's perfect Kingdom after each death. And, Buddhist minded people should know that this Source/God is not a temporal ascended master guru who incarcerated as a deity "god", such as Siva, Krishna, Vishnu, Brahma, (or the likes). I firmly believe that this is the actual source of all existence.

Many good points. Here's why Yeshua One with Christ ("Jesus Christ") died on the cross: So that He would die in a vivid fashion that would be remembered, in order to show us that 1) there IS NO death (which is what He is saying in the passages leading up to and including Mark 12:27, Matthew 22:32 and Luke 20:38)....and 2) we are not the body. "Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing." (John 6:63).....and 3) to demonstrate forgiveness under the most extreme of circumstances, again, so that this would be well-remembered. "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." "Take up your cross daily and follow me." Jesus knew from the beginning that the cross was His destiny, and He made sure that this would take place with His uncharacteristic overturning of the money-changers' tables. As A Course in Miracles points out, The Father need forgive no man, because He neither judges nor condemns anyone. In the New Testament Jesus says: "The Father judges no man." and "I judge no man." "I came not to judge but to save." But forgiveness is how we overcome the world: forgiveness is how we OVERCOME THE EGO. Forgiveness is the one and only Way to the Truth and the Light of the Life. "Judge not and you will not be judged...forgive and you are forgiven." (Luke 6:37) Jesus Christ is our perfect example. And the true mission and message of Jesus Christ is fully spelled-out in my books. I don't receive RU-vid comment notifications, but can be contacted through my website A Course in Truth.

THE KING OF THE JEWS. MATTHEW 15:27-32 ~ With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. 28 [e]So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with the transgressors.” 29 And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, “Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, 30 save Yourself, and come down from the cross!” 31 Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. 32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and [f]believe.” Even those who were crucified with Him reviled Him.

with them [the romans] sacrified a few hundred of thousands in all Israel..let`s just put Jesus in the hysorical and political context. Before being made god..he was a person, living in very troubled times..it took some hundreds of years before he was made equal to GOD...let`s just pray to the Creator of ALL. That`s what Jesus did and asked from his followers..

17:00 When I saw it... I immediately destroyed my own life, because I know that my life is not 'my own'. Worse is that a 5,000 year old problem has been 'dumped in my lap' and I have the 'gifts' to be able to do something about it. The tribulation started a long time ago... in the Garden of Eden. Man was appointed ONCE to die, and Adam kept that 'appointment'. And then? The 'judgement'. You cannot have 'judgement' wirhout knowing how to compare good and evil... I guess that how you would do so, would be to say things are 'good' and 'very good'. There is a duality, and we are reading this book out of context. How can I contact this author - we need to talk, and quicjly. Jesus did NOT have to be crucified, and 1st Corinthians 2:8 says so. Maybe between the 2 of us, we can figure out how to end this 'war'. My number is in my channel info.

Since I watched and listened some true NDEs 2 years ago I've started to have such a huge mess in my head about who God is and what he requires from us. Till this day I have been asking myself, why God wanted bloody sacrifice of Jesus for reconciliation. Couldn't he forgive our sins without this whole cosmic drama? I just don't get it...

Forgiveness, by definition, means to let something go without requiring payment. So the idea that God needs a blood sacrifice in order to "forgive" sin isn't promoting forgiveness at all.

It was mankind who made the decision to crucify Jesus, not God. Men are given free will. The teachings of Jesus to forgive, have compassion and love for others is what we should dwell on. Yes, the crucifixion was horrible but Jesus even forgave those who put him through such horror. Focus on His teachings and let God have those concerns you have.

There is a related symbolism. When Adam and Eve joined together they formed Caine and Abel. One is symbolic of lower awareness and one higher awareness. God asks for a sacrifice. Its their thought. God is not over impressed with Caine. Caine kills Abel. We are born in Caine and the soul is Abel. Jesus is killed by Caine mentality. Jesus sacrificed his body to prove that we are not bodies but the soul. God allows us to live within ourself as an individual so that we see both the truth of God and the truth of our self thought. The sacrifice is to give God your thought and work with him.

Jesus eluded that he would die on the cross, that he would be lifted up. Also everyone I hear on this channel says we all accepted this assignment before we came here. Jesus knew before he came this would happen, he was destined to die on the cross. He knew he would become the center piece of Christianity and the bible. When Jesus died he conquered death and created a portal for everyone to have the ability to pass on to eternity, eternal life. Other wise we would be stuck here on this planet or maybe as far as the 4th dimension which might as well be death. He was able to do this because he was perfect, he is the image of God and even God. He did for us what we could not.

I agree at about 99%, great analysis! The worship of the cross and sacrifice is a pagan thing, not (suppose to be) a Christian thing, but many Pastors and their sheeps worship it as long as The ''sacrifice''. Yeshua (yep, they can't write and pronounce his name but pretend representing him), never worshiped the cross or sacrifices, he took responsibility for the HIS creation, that include Good AND Bad, light and darkness... HIS idea and he took responsibility for it, by being human, going through death, watever the way he died, it's through relating to God and him that we are saved, not by a sacrifice on a wood cross!... Think about it ;o ) Love is eternal in him. P.S. Same for the resurection, Lazarus was first right? Should we worship him? just saying!

Penal substitutionary atonement theory as he refers to it (the idea that Jesus took the punishment for sinners on the cross) may be wrong as he says, but historically it’s been central to the Church *from the very beginning.* How he could believe that this somehow started with Calvin is completely whackadoodle.

Hi MD... You endorse ndes' and I had one. NDES ' began during New Testament times with Paul as aboundant revelations were given, and there were some things that were not lawful to speak of. In the Revelation of JESUS CHRIST, the apocalypse, unveiling, we have the resurection, through the resurection of JESUS, who is the resurection. This was also the place and time of the At-one-ment, and marriage supper, where they became at one. This consumation right after the 1st Covenant was fulfilled at the end of rev. 18. This fulfilled the New Covenant, where the old was fading, soon to vanish, and HE WHO shall come will come, in just a little while, and will not tarry. HE came. This New Covenant, which is a blood Covenant, Blood of the CROSS, is HIS WILL and TESTAMENT, our inheritance. It was the blessed hope for them, and available for us now. Heb. 10:15-20ish, tells of the new and living way to enter in, within the veil, like unveiling. Sorry, but HE is the Savior, and we need HIM. ... After this resurection the Heaven was New, and so was the earth as the New Covenant included all, see rev. 5:13.... When you enter in, the sealed book, becomes an unsealed, living book on your heart. All things were created by HIM, through HIM, and for HIM. HE has Preeminence. Don't neglect, it was unlawful to speak of some things, as Don't write what the 7 thunders said.... It is the Glory of GOD to conceal a matter, but it is the honor of Kings to uncover it. For GOD, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the Glory of GOD in the face of JESUS CHRIST.... lol... r. 💌 The Revelation of JESUS CHRIST, these things must shortly come to pass, the time is at hand, rev ch.1, and rev. 20 towards end. Those things did come to pass, thank you JESUS..... lol💌

This question is answered with blazing clarity in "A Course in Miracles". I offer a couple of excerpts to give you an idea, but I recommend you read the whole chapter. A couple of excerpts from Chapter 6: The Lessons of Love. I. The Message of the Crucifixion: 6. ⁶You are not asked to be crucified, which was part of my own teaching contribution. ⁷You are merely asked to follow my example in the face of much less extreme temptations to misperceive, and not to accept them as false justifications for anger. T-6.I.6:6-7 9. I elected, for your sake and mine, to demonstrate that the most outrageous assault, as judged by the ego, does not matter. ²As the world judges these things, but not as God knows them, I was betrayed, abandoned, beaten, torn, and finally killed. ³It was clear that this was only because of the projection of others onto me, since I had not harmed anyone and had healed many. T-6.I.9:1-3

Why did Jesus have to die? To save us from death. What is death the opposite of life. Jesus died, not just his body but he himself died. DEATH IS REAL. Those that die have no consciousness whatsoever, there is no afterlife (Ecc 9:4-10, Psalm 6:5, Psalm 30:9, Psalm 88:10-12, Psalm 146:2-4, Psalm 115:17, Acts 2:34, Isaiah 38:18-19. We are sinning because we are dying. Jesus came to to save us from sin and death by making us immortal and by giving us his righteousness (justification). 2000 years ago a man named Jesus was born, he was the son of God. God, who always existed, begat Jesus, Jesus did not always exist. First there was the Father, God, then came his son. Jesus really is Gods son. Jesus has been given office and title and powers of God (God the Father always had these, Jesus did not, that is why God the Father gives these things to Jesus) but he is not the same being as his Father. One is immortal and could never die, the other is mortal and can die. Jesus before he was borne made everyone. Jesus lived a perfect life, and died on the cross as a substitute for you and all the bad deeds you have committed in your life, these bad deeds are called sins, we are all sinners, and the wages of sin is to suffer and eventually die. 3 days and nights later after being totally dead (he ceased to exist and was in a lifeless corpse) in a tomb, God raised him back to life and Jesus ascended into heaven. Thanks to this he defeated death and sin once and for all for everyone. Since he was sinless he could die in your place. Jesus on that cross paid for all mankinds sins, the Father has accepted the payment. Everyones sins have been paid for, hence all are saved. At this momment though not all are justified (declared not guilty, sinless), justification is for all and upon all who believe. Eventually everyone will believe. Some sooner others later. Thanks to this, everyone will one day attain immortality and enter into the Kingdom of God, the lake of fire exists for some but it is not forever. Gods judgements are measured. In the end Jesus saves all. The cross grantees the salvation of everyone who ever lived. We have no free will. God gives faith to anyone he chooses. In the end he will give faith to all. proof that hell is not forever, the reason it says so in most bibles is a mistranslation of the words olam/aion/aionios What wrong with Christianity? 1. Original sin, 2. Jesus die for our sin, 3 Trinity. These are false.

@@dfkuz New Testament is written in Greek. Jesus himself only speaks Aramaic. The translation from original text into Greek has lost the real meaning. Eventhough King James Bible, is not accurate with original texts.

So the wages of sin wasn’t death. Adam and Eve were going to die anyway just because they were human mortals. God was kidding and the snake wasn’t lying, oh hang that, the snake said they wouldn’t die they would become like God even though they already were…my head hurts. And humans need other humans to teach them how to love God. Hhhmmm? Poor God.

I am also a former Christian. Life is so much better now without the forced dogma of Christianity. Personally Jesus only had a bad weekend. He didn't die, just went back to what he was before. No real sacrifice and who did he sacrifice himself to anyway? It's just a very ill thought out story book written by men. Totally unconvinced by the claims of any religions.

Think of it this way. The best person you would ever want to meet agreed to go to the nastiest place you can think off. It was a prison full off nasty people. He whent there as a fellow prisoner to educate and heal. They tore him apart. This person did go home but wanted us to go with him to a better place. Generation begat generation and still the prison exists and who do they blame? The person we killed. Genetically we come from one source. We just dont like people knowing.

@@grayintheuk8021 I have gone back to the Hebrew Tora and looked again. I am not part of religion. We are animals that die or their is more to us. I cannot throw away something loving just because a church wanted power.

@@grayintheuk8021 There is religion, then there's spiritual life, and by the way, what you believe is your religion, as you have faith in your reading material. The principle remains the same, as a man thinkith so is he. btw... you will give account for every idle word. Sorry, but I believe that. Words are the representation of your inner spiritual man, the you that lives on. You experienced the dogma, which is not CHRIST Life. There is CHRIST life. It comes with absolute surrender, total dependence, and on the promises of HIS NEW Testament, Covenant promises, with HIS BLOOD on them, is a most excellent place for your evidence of things not seen... my testamony. This Testament will provide HIS testamony... the life is in the blood, the Blood is on the COVENANT. The COVENANT is a uniting, a marriage of sorts, an AT-ONE-MENT.... 💌

@@marksingleton7199 Thanks Mark for your reply. Please can I ask: What does 'going back to the Hebrew Tora to look again' means? Could you not find it the first time round? Was the thing hidden or lost? If you are not part of any religion then why are you even looking at an old religious book for? How can an old book be any proof of what ever deity you are trying to prove? I'm really confused so please let me know what your thing is. Also what is the something loving in your comment about not throwing one of them away please? Thanks Gray
