@population-_-420 he retire after getting fired. Make sure you know he got fired first. He did not retire while on roster. He retire after getting the Axe 🪓
The NFL product is all played on borrowed time. CTE, cardiac arrests, leg injuries, spinal cord diseases, and so on. Reckless tackling and hits. Because concussions weight heavily on the nature of football.
Agree 100%. A neck injury will definitely slow down a player’s speed. The neck is very much involved when we run, more than we would think because folks like Skip think if a player doesn’t have a leg injury, his speed should not be compromised.
@@rickbrenner3 right.. I broke the peg in between c-1 & c-2 in a car accident.. had to get six screws in my neck.. I can still run but I may have 30-40% of my original speed before the accident.. I can’t even sprint the full length of a basketball court without feeling pain
Skip please stop! Coming from a vet who had ACDF neck surgery with replaced C5,C6,C7 sustained from injuries in Iraq, it absolutely does interfere with your physical performance in every facet way including speed and every day life activities. It’s your spine!!! How did you come up with that statement?
Nah Niners are a dirty team, look at how they injured Tony Pollard in the 2023 divisional playoff game, in which in the off-season the NFL made a rule about that type of injury by the defense. But KARMA has come to the NINERWHINERS because like the Cowgirls all the talent in the world but in the last 30 years NO SUPERBOWL WINS!
He doesn't understand at all. To maintain that maximum ability of a prime athlete, you have to be able to train super hard. To be able to train super hard JUST when the issue is serious, debilitating nerve pain is insanely hard. To be able to have insane nerve pain, and it does not result in decreased performance, is just impossible.
This is a Jerry special. Show everybody how much smarter you are by drafting a LB who everybody else passes on because they don't have the body to play LB without being injury prone. Vander Esch, Jaylon Smith, Sean Lee, Dat Ngyuen, Dexter Coakley; all very good players who wore down fast.
Most normal people wouldn't even take the mildest of what would constitute a serious nerve/neck injury. Like permanently numb finger tips. Bas Rutten has a completely atrophied arm.
When Skip gets proven wrong his level of incompetence goes crazy! It's so cringe because he starts talking in circles, making no sense rather than making valid counter arguments.
Vander esch was actually not playing bad this past year before he got hurt. Honestly the best id seen since that rookie year. Sean lee was phenomenal…. And he just got hurt and it didnt stop. Both are good linebackers. Injuries just hurt them regardless if they would have a career else where, why are we making this a dallas thing lmao you just a bum.
Skip Im a die hard cowboys fan, born in 90, I know nothing less than cowboy glory, I was baptized in silver and metallic blue confetti. I say that to say this, you're taking it personally it was a fine play, and Williams is a fine player. Thank you Vanderesch your presence will be missed, you are right there with Sean Lee in my eyes.
I can see why some of these players have a gripe with media guys. I don't care how much you've WATCHED the game, unless you were in the trenches, your "feelings" about something doesn't make it right.
He was a good player, too bad the injury happened. Better to walk away vs being wheeled away..........He has too much life left to get a permanent injury.
Regardless of how much they try to revise the game, Football will always be a collision sport that can have extreme repercussions. Prayers to Vander Esch hopefully he can find a new life out of football
The more I watch Keyshawn Johnson and skip Bayless debate, I admire Keyshawn more and more. I’m not sure how he deals with skips immature, temper tantruming, spoil, childish antics. SMH🤣🤣🤣
This is exactly why this show has 50,000 viewers. Talk about The Cowboys every single day. I'm waiting for skip to tell us Saquan isn't good because he is 0-10 vs Dallas cause he didnt say that on every single episode since the start of free agency.....
Skip is going to talk about his performance against the Cowboys like there are not 31 other teams so one way another it's going to circle back to them.
Thank God LVE didn’t get paralyzed or anything but if we’re being honest he was mid after his rookie year. He just didn’t understand how to flow in and out of traffic and defeat a block to get to the point of attack…you need a DUDE at mike linebacker (I can understand that tho when you’re worried about getting paralyzed after any awkward contact)
I was looking forward to seeing "The Tackling Dutchman" (as Shannon Sharpe called him, once) take the field in the 2024-2025 NFL season for the Dallas Cowboys. This came as a shock to me, personally... Now, the Dallas Cowboys definitely have reasons/a reason to find somebody on the defensive end of the football via free agency/the 2024 NFL draft/both & I hope the person/people they find to replace Leighton Vander Esch ultimately pan out.
literally sean lee 2.0 same exact career. ILB is a dying breed and as a former linebacker in high school it saddens me. theres no more kuechly, urlacher, ray, al wilson, patrick willis, greenlaw the only pure linebacker left it seems
Cowboys fan here and this discussion is beyond stupid. First of all LVE didn't retire because of that one hit by Williams. He had injury issues even before entering the league. Besides that, I don't think there's a reason to feel sorry for LVE. His lived his dream of playing pro football, he made an impact on his team and made a good penny along the way. Nothing but the best to him. Enjoy retirement
I almost lost my right arm from recurring stingers in high school. My right pec has permanent damage and the right side of my face doesn’t work as well. Stingers should be taken as seriously as concussions.
Skip is making this more and more hard to watch this show with the way he acts. I'm down to watching 2 maybe 3 clips a week and I don't even watch the full clips, let alone watch the actual program
Bro that was a clean block. Things happen unfortunately. We wish him the best. Hopefully he lives a relative pain free life but you never know with neck issues.
Skip has to breakdown every play into the microscopic level in order to feed his delusion of how the cowboys always are being mistreated and abused by obscure forces that no else can see or understand
An unfortunate reality of the NFL. Some people get lucky with injuries, some people average out, and some people always seem to have something. Bryan Bulaga comes to mind. Great protector when healthy - just rarely ever that.
Skip just mad because his team once again blew the season in historic fashion, lost a good player, and has yet to do anything in the offseason to upgrade their team lol........traditional Cowboys fashion lol
