I don't understand some black folks. When we use race to our advantage, it's positive. But if someone else uses race to their advantage, its negative. We can't have it both ways. Sometimes, we are criticized because we are looking stupid. Remember when CP publically used race as the reason people doubted his win at TCU? Was that professional? Why is it ok for him to use race? Racist in the fact that they are hoping he fails and doing little to no acknowledgment on the fact that he’s done WAAAAAY more good than bad for Boulder Colorado. I think the only thing people are saying and this is not racist is that he shouldn't run his mouth as much and be as cocky when he finished dead last in the conference last year he won three more games than the year before and that was still terrible has he done some good things for the university as far as money yes but the fact still remains and this has nothing to do with him being black they're the most overhyped irrelevant 4-8 team in college football history
Originally, I thought Coach Prime was tripping when he started confronting the Colorado media that was trashing him online and then celebrating the team's progress in his face. The former mayor is a great source bc he's giving folks from outside of Colorado a meaningful take on the situation. Some of these folks would rather see CU 0-12 than to see Coach Prime successful. They want to control Prime, and he's not that kind of coach. In life, you can't waste time on negative folks. They'll distract you from the real, goals, and purpose in your life. Coach is a great example of that.

I think you summed it up correctly. He is never gonna have what should be their respect, but that's because they resist. You can't get nobody who says they will go 4-8 to have a factual conversation about the differences in this roster, and the 4-8 roster. Or this staff vs the 4-8 staff. @@RickMcGuire-bl2vs ,certainly a coach can be taken seriously and can even keep his job by winning the winning.Colorado`s football team had only one win the season before Coach Dion Sanders became there coach.Last season they did win 4 games.Disappointment ?Yes but that was some improvement.Also a lot of the players waited until after the 2023 Spring Practice Football was over,then they left the team and transferred to other teams.He had to hustler up some last minute replacement.I think that hurt the team for the 2023 season.

As for the touting of the improvement to 4 wins,the 1 win year wasnt the norm,the norm WAS 4 win seasons. Research their last decade,4 wins is about the norm. Then they dropped to 1 win and then another 4 win looks to be an improvement. Yes,a 1 yr to yr improvement over the previous year. Thats not the measuring stick used,lol. So far,hes kept them as they usually are. We will soon know more and have more results,but last yr WAS the norm in boulder for quite some time now.

Yes. But he won't get it to this level. The same people who will tell you Deion isn't Coach, (although his Coaching resume is closer to One then JJs,)will give JJ more room for mistakes. but, I've always believed coaching isn't that hard of job when the talent is great. The hardest teams to coach are worst rosters. The best coach can't win without talent. The most average of all coaches can win with talent. Why? Because the game is not hard to figure out or scheme for when you have talents.

I think some aren’t happy unless the race card is played. I don’t see Coach’s backlash as a race issue - I see it as a Deion Sanders issue. He’s never fallen into line and marched the way he’s been expected to. He didn’t as a player, and he sure as hell hasn’t as a coach. He built a team like no one had before, and was mocked for it. Until it won its first 3 games. Then people didn’t know what to do. The uniqueness in Boulder, and all that’s followed, is a Coach Prime issue, not a racial issue. .

I disagree. He brought this on to himself. He rubbed everyone the wrong way with his lack of professionalism last season. He is empowering the racist people. Im black and I am turned off by his entitled attitude.
