I think the advent of technology has been a major factor in the "awakening" occurring in Africa. Not only are more eyes open, but today with a smart phone, one has the equivalent of a library in one's hands, and one can communicate with others around the world to exchange information and discuss all topics.

The major point I get from this is that it’s an admission Europe is weak without domination of Africa. The elite of Europe see this as an existential crisis. So morality is irrelevant to them when it comes to keeping Africa, unstable, underdeveloped and poor. So trying to appeal to ideals of righteousness, religious doctrine or human dignity is useless with this incorrigible enemy.
