Not knocking the whole conversation, some of the points spoken about was really, really excellent.

So basically the problem came in when Electricity provision was Centralized....Interesting.

let's not forget that Medupi and Kusile awarded Hitachi (ie funds to ANC via Chancellor House) the boiler tender, the world bank granted them more than one loan to enable the theft.

So in a nutshell, the ANC hasn't been able to run anything effectively since being given power, and I find two things very interesting with this conversation. 1. He seems to clear his nose every time he's about to lie. 2. Nothing was said about the money-grabbing, and those money-grabbing f**ks not caring about any other citizens. B.t.w. My question, at what stage did he leave, when Kuseli and Mugube(?) power stations were being built, and they were both effed projects? Zero carbon= dead crops, plants, trees. He's right about that- we don;t need to cut down 27 million trees in order to erect non-recyclable shite that's going to increase the cost to an already broken society.

We need to implement a pay for performance model at Eskom. Everyone gets paid the percentage of their salaries based on actual power supplied.

If ESKOM is 100 yrs. old, why can’t it operate efficiently. Electricity is the most important variable in running an economy. And since ESCOM can’t be run efficiently by the public/private sector… how will SA be able to transition to green energy grids? It will be the exact same outcome…. management and government don’t really care if it runs…. they have had 100 years!
